Yes, waste their time or ignore completely!! If you want a funny annoying addon effect, blow an air horn after using a very low voice when your sick of talking to them.

I get these calls frequently as well, I just went on line and reported them to the national do not call registry.  It's easy to do, fill out tthe form on like...maybe if they get enough complaints they can stop them.

I have all my business #'s forwarded to my cell. Each time I get a call from a number I don't recognize, I let it go to voicemail. Then look it up here. If spam, I add it to my blocked call list. The app I use on my smartphone is called MrNumber.  It's a godsend! You can choose between send to voicemail or pickup and hangup.  I have hundreds in my block list.

I just received a phone call from this number and you cannot call it back.

I called the company back and spoke to a live operator. She told me that the company was not a telemarketer, and I told her that it was.
The company purports to represent "all" credit card companies therefore thinks itself exempt from the do not call list. This is false.
They have therefore instructed the operators to lie and say they are not telemarketers.
But they are. They do not represent your card company. And it does not matter that you have a credit card.
I don't know what it's purpose is but I suspect they work for a credit card company or are a service that gets a fee if you change.

I just got a call from this number .. wanting to lower my credit card interest rates...when I told them to take me from they list they said they didn't have to since they are not selling anything then said they would call my number every day for the rest of my life.

Got a call from this number. My caller ID identified it as cell phone SC. Answered and no one was on the other end. I called back and received a recording saying the person at this number was unavailable and to leave a message.

This is another credit card interest rate scam. These guys just don't know when to shut up and stop calling people's houses. When I pressed 1 to speak to a real person, her name was Monique. She asked me how I was doing today and I said good thanks. She then asked me if I wanted to take advantage of today's low interest rates. This is what I said "Actually I just wanted to tell you that I've been forewarned about this phone scam and I really have to. I want you to get my phone number off your list and NEVER call my house again." before I said NEVER, she hung up. I would like to track these thieves and throw them in jail and throw away the key.

Honey, take a stiff drink, smoke a cigarette or something to help calm down. The government is never the solution and they lie about everything. Of course, scammers like this one don't obey the law anyway, so they won't pay attention  to a restraining order. If you don't recognize the number, don't pick up. That will drive you crazy, IF YOU LET IT. Don't let it. There are many times I wish I lived in the late 1800s. They had their own problems, but telemarketers weren't among them. I'm guessing something else is going on in your life, and I'm sorry. Otherwise, these crappy people would be a minor annoyance. If you can, go outside when it's cool and take a walk until you feel some of the tension wash away. These people don't care if they hurt you or drive you crazy. When you're stressed anyway, just realizing that fate sends them to your phone can overwhelm you. Take care!

Because they are criminals and there are lots of them. Apparently it is easy to avoid detection and prosecution.  They could give a ___ about the law.   That's also how you know they are out to steal from you!   Also many stupid people must fall for this garbage.   If it didn't work, they would be no reason for them to call.  I had my best luck unplugging my phone from the wall for a day.   After that I went almost a full week without phoney calls.

It’s a credit card scammer!

Just like many already posted here, I received several calls from 864-213-7092.  This is a company wanting to consolidate my credit card / lower my credit card interest.  I hope enough people will complain to the  National Do Not Call Registry (URL as follows) so that they will finally do something to stop this company from keeping calling us.  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

This is a repeat offender caller stating the message to lower your credit card interest rate,press #1 to talk to an operator who will assist you.This caller never stops calling repeatedly over and over again.I wish they get STOPPED! They just called today 7/17/2012.

I tried to call this number back to get put on a DO NOT CALL list and just get a message that no one is available.  Please have them put be on the DO NOT CALL list.  Why is it that I'm on the DO NOT CALL list and still get 3 to 4 calls a day.
