I'm on the do-not-call list but they call anyway.  It's not always the same number, but the message is the same.  I suppose if I answer the phone they claim they already have a business relationship with me and have a right to call.  They don't.  I only answer because (a) I can't always read the number of the person calling, (b) I have a large extended family who may need to call me from an unfamiliar number, and (c) in this day of cell phones, messages from my doctor or my pharmacist or other legitimate calls may come from an unfamiliar number.  Telling them not to call again doesn't work.  It's a poor way to do business!  Who would actually work for a company like that?

Rec'd a call from 864-213-7092 at the office where I work-I pressed #1 and a woman came on the line named Linda-she starting talking right away about lowering my interest rates on credit cards that I have. I asked her how did she get this # because this was a # for a business office. Then the phone went dead.

I am thinking about doing this on my personal cell because I have been getting so many calls from telemarketers, scammers, credit card and people trying to get your personal info to rob you--theft--I will tell them that my # is a business # and see what happens then-or I might just say state police can I help you-I have your # now and your local police dept will be sent to your address ASAP.

This is a scam that's supposed to lower your credit card fees.  I pressed 1 in a short time "Michael" came on asking how I was doing today.  I asked him what financial institution he was with and he immediately hung up.  Maybe this will stop them from calling back?  This was about the 4th call from them in a month.

I've probably received 50 calls from that number and a host of others using the same message on robot dialers and  the same script if you get a live scammer after pressing the appropriate button. Being retired, I have plenty of time to waste their time. I string them along (Wow! I'd LOVE to get a better rate! Tell me MORE!") until they request a valid credit card number so they can check my credit. I ask, "Have you ever heard about the FTC Do Not Call Registry, a**hole?" and hang up.

Have received several calls from this number.  The person says that it is in regard to my credit card and call immediately.  Has something to do with the stimulus.  This time she said that she was calling from South Carolina.  The calls seem to come after I have used my credit card for purchases.  I am on the do not call registry.  My credit card company tells me that all is fine with my account, and just to ignore them.  Seems that nothing can be done to deter these annoyances.

I'm on the do not call list. Please pay attention to that list! Hire someone who can read it too.

Unsolicited credit card calls

This company keeps calling me even though I'm on the do not call register.  I've requested that they stop calling me in the past - they just don't listen.
Today I started telling a person to put my name on their do not call list and she hung up on me.

They call my cell phone.  An air horn blast or a whistle blast usually stops them from calling for a good long while.  I figure since they're most likely wearing headsets the least they deserve is a raging headache.  I also keep the numbers in my cell phone contact list so when they call I can have the air horn or whistle ready to" make their day".  It has been over 6 months since I last received a call from this number so I suspect it'll be awhile until they call again.

Please tell me how I can get these people to stop calling.

You people are lazy, cowardly trash. You should be in prison. Go get an honest job and get up early and work all day like the rest of us. Scum!
