Hey, folks. The single best way to stop the rudeness of these invasive creatures is to file a complaint at www.fcc.gov! I've been filing regular compaints w/ the FCC for about 2 months now, for my office and home phone, and I'm almost at zero. Of course this Larry Roach bozo snuck in, but I filed the complaint w/ FCC prior to writing this. The only way the FCC can take care of it is if we report it to them using the FCC's online system. The FCC doesn't have the manpower to read our blogs. I wish you peaceful phone calls!

I got  a call in Swizerland. Get this from Larry Roach. I am not an American Ctzen. Never have been.  am a diplomatic Agent and I once collarberated with the IA. These fools tell me I own taxes and they will reccommend tge client to sue if I do no pay in  24 hours. As per your questions  000 000 0000 is usually the IRS or another US Federal Number. I stated my position to Dinah I believe he name was and she state she can invoke extradition treaties and bla bla bla. Last time I cecked we swiss are neutral and have no treaties of any sort to th U S of Ass. Last time I checked that Firm was in violation of the Diplomatic Clause in the Geneva Convention. She tells e I owe over half a million in taxes and 50000 in credit card debt. One the taxes she states are for  business that I have never heard of or owned. And I have noredit cards from any bank on US sol nor do said banks have a counter part here. I make more money than the USAs dear president I made my first million at 19  a long time ago. Do  sound lik some one who ows money over there.  haven't ben to the US for 15 years and I never filed for credit nor operated a business. What have the people overthere reduced their typical riff raff selves to people trying to blatently ignore federal and  UN law. Explain that one tapayer you Jack Ass Tell me how I as a diplomatic agent can ppay something Ive never owed or had an account for.

And last I checked these people have no juristiction over country bouderies reguardless of if its an issue wth a diplomat or nay

What do I do?   I owe a credit card company $ because of a loss of SSI money from my husband's death and I just couldn't keep up with the payments.  

I put all of my creditors with a debt managment company which is wonderful but the only one that did not accept the proposal was this card company I'm having problems with.

The debt mgt co. and myself were still sending monthly payments even with the refusal.

I received a letter last week, 4/4, from this collecting agency (Larry Roach).  I then get a phone call about 5 days later from very cold, abrupt woman saying I better have the total amount I owe in my bank my Friday, 4/16  before 2pm or else major problems will happen. I asked can't I pay this off and was told no.  Then she puts a man on the phone to tell me the same thing.  Nasty, nasty people!!!

I've been frantic looking for someone to loan me this money and can't find anyone.

Any suggestions on what I do?  I wanted what bank I'm out of and I told them BofA but not anyother info on my accounts.  Could they actually go into these accounts and take money out of them without knowing account numbers?

I got a call from these people and was advised not to talk to them, but when they called my sister and tried to go through her to get to me, that was it. I am sick of this and will put a stop to it. They have no right to call my family to get to me. There is an act called Fair Debt Collections Practice Act and you can use this to tell them not to call you or your family and friends but to contact you in the mail. They are very un ethical.

Me, are you really that cold hearted.   Must work for these jerks.  You deserve all life brings you.

The can't invoke anything. In fact they can not even sue you if you are not in the State of Ohio.  The only one there with a law degree is Larry. The collectors like to use the term "legal assistant" because it makes them  feel better about themselves. In reality I think most of them don't even have a high school diploma.
   The have lost various Law suits for harassment.  By all means if you owe money then pay it but, First offer the the original balance of what you owe they will take 60% of the original balance any day of the week if you wait until the last day of the month they will probably take 40% of the original balance .  They will talk to you two times and on the third offer you payments.  
  Here is a point I would like to stress.  They can not sue you unless you live in Ohio. The second they say it  they violate the FDCPA. This is a 1000.00 fine per offense so let them keep saying it.
 If all else fails have your legal counsel call. Their song changes really quick.  

ONCE AGAIN THEY CAN NOT DO ANYTHING TO YOU IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE STATE OF OHIO.  

If you want them to stop calling write a certified letter telling them that you wish to not be contacted. If they ignore this letter and call you its another 1000.00 fine.  Legal assistants ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

I payed off my car with you and I was told I would get a letter to send the to credit compnay showing I paid it off. Can you please keep your part of the deal and send me my letter.

Please don't be misinformed by unnamed gunman.  If this office is calling you it's because a company called CACH has purchased your debt from an original creditor or collection agency.  CACH is a network of attorneys who operate and have licenses to practice law in most of the 50 states.  While this office in particular cannot sue you if you don't live in Ohio, they have only to transfer the account to a CACH owned office in your state who can take legal action against you.

I got a new phone number and all of a sudden these jerks won't stop calling.  I don't answer my home phone # and I only keep it so I don't have to talk to anyone I don't want to talk to so I've just been ignoring it.  UNTIL TODAY....The jerk woke me up from my nap and after I yelled at him and told him to stop calling me, he called again a half an hour later.  Now he KNOWS I don't knw\ow this person he's trying to reach and he's still calling.  Called at 12:00 then again at 12:30...yes I'm keeping track and I will sue them for harassment.

I just got this number 8 months ago, and immediately started getting calls from them. When I answered the first 3 times, I got no response. Finally, I answered and someone came on and asked for some person with a french name. I told them I just got the number and please remove my number. They asked if I lived at a certain address, and it was not my address. They stopped calling. Three months later, it started again. So, I told them to stop calling, it was not my name or address, and I was contacting the Attorney General's office first and my attorney second if they did not stop. I did not yell, because it accomplishes nothing. I am debt free and owe know one. I haven't heard from them since.
