Same thing happens to me paid off bill and cancelled services and they keep phoning saying I owe the 500 something dollars according to my knowledge I don't owe them a cent...but they continue to call harassing ..

It is the Toll free number for Bell Canada. If you get a reminder notice from Bell it's in the top right corner above their local and fax number. So pay what you owe or get it straightened out or you get a nice letter with a typed signa block from Kerry Arbour, VP-Billing Credit and Collections.

I am right with you!....I have even filed a complaint with CRTC....they have done nothing for me.  We need to put in more complaints in regards to BELL's unethical billing practices.  They use confussion to bill customers in correctly

I just got a call from these people. The number is auto blocked on my phone (they much have called before) but they were able to leave a voice mail. After they heard "You've reached the voice mail of _____, I'm not available right now but leave a message and I'll return your call as soon as possible", they replied with "Hi can I speak with Ahmed Ishma please?" What a bunch of morons!

This number calls several times a day. I am the primary caregiver for an invalid and need to answer my phone whenever it rings. I feel harassed and disturbed by these meaningless calls which interrupt my work.

This number called claiming to be Officer Brandon Billings (random billings?) from the IRS claiming that we (But did not give our name) we had legal charges being filed against us from the IRS in an audit for fraud. I have no idea what they are talking about and will not call back. By the way, the message was definitely by a robot.

Watch out.

I received a call stating I owed money to the IRS and needed to return the call or my attorney.  And if I didn't they could not help me... threaten tone...

This number is NOT FROM BELL. Do not give your address or any information to them. I called Bell to ask if this number was theirs and they said that it is a home phone number. It is a SCAM. If you get a call from them, report it directly to Bell.

They've been calling me everyday for the past few weeks on my cell from koodo and home phone which is bell. I didnt answer as i didnt know who it was and assumed it was a call center. However now that i know its Bell credit and collections im quite confused as my cell phone has never missed a payment and my home phone, fiber op tv and internet are all with Bell and all in good standing with no missed or late payments.....so WTF!!! I plan to call Bell directly to find out and not the credit and collections dept, and find out why they've been harassing me when i still have phone, internet, and cable with them....maybe time to switch?

They said I can grant money

It's a scam-no grant-no money.

These guys are unbelievable. Same thing. They have called now 6 times a day. Is this legal. Now their calling my boss. I made a deal for them to send my final bill and they still call. They really need help

I have a Bell landland line & a pay as you go Bell old flip phone....I pay my bills always with nothing outstanding...I resent their calling me on my cell & wasting my $$ prepaid minutes.  They call 3-4 times daily....I'm going to be contacting Bell customer service and see why this would be happening to me  - I refuse to speak with these ppl at all...

It may not even be Bell actually calling you but a scammer. If you read the other posts in this thread it appears people care getting calls reportedly from many other companies besides Bell.

Called ID said Bell Canada asked for a random name I said wrong number and they hanged up must of been a scam

This is NOT Bell!! They kept calling me saying they had important information about my file, but had to verify who I was. To verify I was the correct person, they needed personal information like my mailing address etc. I didn't give it to them, told them I thought they were scammers. They kept calling even though I kept telling them they were scammers - after the third day I blocked their number.

This is NOT bell Canada whatsoever. Call display said that bell Canada was calling. Since I was dealing with an equipment issue with them, the call was expected. As soon as the barely audible woman on the other end started fishing for confirmation information rather than asking for my fibe account info, I got suspicious. I simply said no thank you and she lost her bloody mind yelling about collections and going to court. Bell has confirmed that 866-206-8371 is NOT one of their numbers at all. I was also advised against giving them any information, not that I would. Bell has its own creditors.
