Option #1 tell them that person does not work here anymore

Option #2 tell them you have caller ID and you are reporting this number and their company to the Attorney Generals Office

I just received a call from South Atlantic Money Management and spoke to a very rude guy.  First he called my cell, which showed up a number from my hometown.  Being that I don't answer unknown numbers I let it right hoping that they would leave a message if it was important.  No message was left, so I called back just to see who it was.  They said they were from South Atlantic Money Management.  Since I had no clue who that was I said "Sorry wrong number" and hung up. Well, sure enough he called back again but this time on a blocked number.  When I didn't answer he called my work phone and I answered.  Stated I owed two payday loans back in 2010 totaling $1020.  He said a letter was mailed to my house (which I never saw), and that they have been trying to contact me for a while.  I said I needed a letter showing proof and not to call my work phone and hung up on him.  He calls back my work phone and says, "well do you want me to call your husband, will he be more of an adult about this".  I told him I did not want him to call my work or my cell or anyone else about this loan.  That I needed a letter so I can verify what they say I owed and for what company.  The guy was very rude on the phone saying I needed to pay what I owed.  I told him I had him recorded (which I did) and that I know my rights.  He said he would send me something in email by the end of the day.  Let's see where that goes.  I'm tired of these people calling me and harassing me.

Emails are NOT repeat  NOT official notification.  Demand WRITTEN proof of the "debt" MAILED to you.  Accept no other claim (fax or phone calls do not count  too!).

Prove that the bill is owed. Oh wait...

Here is a tip --- please learn how to read before participating in Internet forums.  No one even indicated they owed a debt (not that it matters to you, far be it for you to pass up on a chance to intimidate consumers)

You might want to pay your bills so you can afford a properly working keyboard, just saying

Got a recorded message and was told to call 844-270-0405. Turns out it is from South Atlantic Money Mgt. Funny thing is someone from GPSL Holdings, which is the parent company to SAMM, tried to access my personal information by sending me an invite on LinkedIn. Can you believe the nerve of these people?

I have repeatedly asked South Atlantic Money Management to stop calling my work phone. I have requested that all communication be in writing. Repeatedly they have violated several laws. They try to wiggle around the law. If you ask someone to stop contacting you and they continue to contact you it becomes harassment. I have filed a police report against this company. I know that these people are uneducated and probably walk around their dirty apartments with bedroom slippers on and drinking malt liquor but it gives them no right to constantly harass individuals every single day. What happened to going to school and getting a degree and a job? Now it's all about scams and being dirty. If this was a legitimate company why not stop calling after being asked to stop? If this was a legitimate company why not send requested information in writing? Why be rude, nasty, and disgusting if this is a legitimate company. I do not know if reporting these people to the authorities will work but I am definitely going to try to stop the harassment. I have also reported them to the Attorney General and FTC.

Saying they are going arrest me. Its fraud as I've done investigation.

Keep calling me about a debt . I never had seen.
