Calls over and over. But never leaves a message. Do not answer numbers I don’t know. Guess if it’s important they would leave me a message.

A Jerry Johnson from MCOA keeps calling to discuss "an important business matter" with my daughter who does not live here nor does she ever give out home number.  I've never answered the calls, leaves messages. If you Google MCOA - Marijuana Company of America. SCAM!

You need to research better and not take the first result.  This is Municipal Collections of America, and collection agency.  https://municollect.com/

Company has already been identified in this thread.  They collect Municipal debt which is not covered under the FDCPA.

From what I have been able to find out from the site link that you posted municollect.com is MCA, MCOA which is what we are all getting called from (this includes my 90 year old father who doesn't have any municipal debt) is the marijuana company of America

So, you cannot read or are you simply some troll sticking up for these people?  It clearly and succinctly says at the very top of the page Municipal Collections of America.  So extrapolating the initials  from that title would give us MCOA.  The very fact that your 90 year old father does not owe any debt does not mean a thing.  His phone number could have been associated with someone that did at one time, or they simply his name could be the same as someone who did at one time or still does.

Received a voicemail from this number to call back concerning an important business matter. I called the number they provided, 877-751-7115. They claimed to be Municipal Collections of America, MCOA, attempting to collect a debt of $93.75 for a speeding ticket in another state 4 YEARS ago. I offered to make a very small payment due to financial hardship and they would not except a payment lower then half the ticket, $47. Collection agencies have to accept any amount of payment according to my understanding. Called the county where they claim I was ticketed. They have nothing on record.

They are calling to collect on outstanding traffic camera tickets. I have 13 violations that haven't been paid. They will send all the info to your house if need. The city of cedar rapids dogs these debts to this company
