They are calling my cell phone. This has been going on for like six months. I only get like half a ring maybe one then they hang up. I guess they here my ringback tone and hang up. It is not legal to call cell phones. So yeah I would like it to stop that would be great. Oh I tried to call the number back and it said for customer service call blah blah blah. It was a recording. I am not calling.

So after reading all the posts I found that I have in common with one about the Wyndham Resorts. I never signed up for a timeshare or anything like that but one of my friends informed me that she had gone to one of these timeshare scams and if she wrote down twenty phone numbers while she was there then she would be entered into a drawing for 1000$ in gas money. Guess who did not win the gas and guess who keeps getting harassed because her dumb friend put her phone number down. This may be how everyone is getting their numbers out there. A good start would be to tell you friends not to give your number out at all!
    Hope this helps.

I have been called everyday at random times throughout the day by this number. Sometimes after 8pm or at about 10am. In fact one time during my college class! Of course, like everyone else the mailbox is full and I can't leave a message to say "DNC my number" There are so many things wrong with this, I know for a fact what these people are doing is illegal and I am going to do everything to get these people to stop.

Don't answer unless I know caller.  I am and have been on the Federal DoNotCall list since 08-2003.  Go Figure!  Ok listen up everyone - well you know what I mean, as Read up, sounds dumb!

Go to DoNotCall.gov and click on file a complaint.  You do NOT have to be on the do not call list to do this.  The information will be listed in their files, which they check for patterns.   They WILL investigate and Prosecute when they see patterns, meaning lots of complaints regarding the same number(s)!

You can also go to FTC.gov and file a more detailed complaint!  They investigate same as donotcall.gov; if there are lots of complaints for the same numbers!

Does anyone have problems with bothersome pain in the ____Collection Agencies?  Please read up on the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  You can give them written notice to Cease Communication, and per Federal Law, they have to comply!   I am not an Attorney, I am just telling you what I've learned and had success in doing.

Good Luck All, but please join with me in filing Complaints!!!

Thanks for the information.  I'm sending an email to the FCC reporting this as a possible phishing scam, harassment (8 calls to cell phone in one day), and violation of the Do Not Call.  I CC'ed this Jeff person to make sure he gets the point that we are fed up with this and that we will take this to the next level.

The CEO of Wyndham Vacation is Stephen P. Holmes.  From his biography page:
    Contact:
    Alyson R. Johnson
    Director, Media Relations
    Wyndham Worldwide
    7 Sylvan Way
    Parsippany, NJ 07054
    (973) 753-6759
    alyson.johnson@wyndhamworldwide.com

I'm going to include Wyndham Vacation in the CC to make sure they get the point to quit breaking the law.

To me it sounds like a phishing scam, especially the way it is being handled--where they disconnect the line if you pressure for billing address for legitimacy.  If I get an update, I'll post it.

did not answer phone call.  However, two steps you can take.
1 - file a complaint with FTC.gov and donotcall.gov.  We a lot of people get calls and file complaints FTC and do not call will pursue their own investigation; but only if they see a major pattern of a lot of complaints.  I file complaints with every phone call I do not recognize!

I followed through with the above.  Jeff has no relationship to the annoying telemarketing and was polite in responding to emails.

I contacted Alyson R. Johnson and sent her an email "Cease and Desist" and notification that Wyndham was in violation of Federal Law.  I also reported Wyndham to both the FCC and FTC and reported it as harassment as well as breaking the law.  On the third day after I sent emails I got a response that Alyson would be contacting the appropriate people in her organization.  I haven't had a call from 866-303-3751 since.  I also let her know that I had already submitted complaints to both the FCC and FTC.

I hope the FCC and FTC follow through.  This aggressive push marketing is nonsense and breaks the law.  They should be punished in accordance with the law and hopefully they'll be hit with some fines to make them understand not to hire telemarketers that engage in this illicit behavior.

Remember to file complaints to both the FCC and FTC.  The more complaints submitted the greater the likelyhood that the feds will act on it.

With the FCC you can start off on the File Complaint stage, which enters it into the database to track the number and gather statistics of some sort.  Here:
    https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

You can also File a Complaint from here:
    http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints_tcpa.html

Select Form 1088 and fill out all the necessary information.

    From the FCC:
"*The FCC prohibits the use of automatic telephone dialing systems or prerecorded messages to call such wireless communications devices unless the call is made for emergency purposes or with the called party's prior express permission.

You may not know whether or not a call you received used an automatic dialing system. Calls to multiple telephone lines in quick succession often involve an automatic dialing system. Automatic dialing systems are used by many entities that regularly make calls to large numbers of telephone lines including telemarketers who rely heavily on such systems to conduct their business."

I am filing a 1088 for every call they make (it only allows you to put 4 times they call, so after each 4 calls I submit a new 1088 with the call times updated).  Be sure to verify your information and at the end Execute it.  You are basically verifying that all the information you are submitting is accurate and true and making it a sworn statement.

    This is what it says:
"ATTEST TO THE ACCURACY OF YOUR COMPLAINT:   Thank you for filing your complaint. Your complaint will be most useful to us if you execute this sworn statement. The FCC will make every effort to take enforcement action against any party who violated the FCC's rules.

Fill in the blanks below and then click the "EXECUTE" box, to declare under penalty of perjury that the information you have provided is, to the best of your knowledge, true and correct.

I declare under penalty of perjury that (1) I am over 18 years old, (2) I am authorized to make decisions regarding the telephone number listed below, and (3) the information I have provided today on this Federal Communications Commission electronic form is, to the best of my knowledge, true and correct."

They want to push, well it's time to shove back.

This number will not stop calling me!  I get the same exact message as everyone else, but when I try to have my number listed on the DNC list it says the answering machine is full.  I'm sick of these people calling me and then hanging up!

Received telemarketing call from this company. When I returned the call to ask to be removed from their list, I received the same recording already reported by others but when I pushed "2" to be put on the list, the recording said no more messages could be accepted.

I have been receiving calls from these jokers for a couple of weeks.  I never answer phone numbers I do not recognize.  But I'm sick of them calling me.  I tried calling the number back from my work phone, and it rang once and said "this number is not in service."

Wo after reading the previous posts here, I answered.  There was no recording, but she asked for me by first name (I have no idea where they got my info, because i have never used it in anything).  I said nothing, but asked who was calling.  She identified herself as "Amy from Wyndham/Worldmark."

I then asked her to place my number on their DNC list and ended the call.  We'll see if it works.
