- ktI don't answer
- vikesmani don't answer either, have tried the DNC thing, it doesn't seem to work.
only found out who they are after I googled the # and got this pg. - memost of the raffles for cars in malls or theatres are from windham resorts. If you sign up for a raffle and put your number down they will call you from that number
- IrateI have received over 15 calls from this number in a two day period. They never once would leave a message and when you call back all you get is the DNC message. I responded to that about five times and to my surprise, guess who still continues to call???? I was getting calls during work so I talked to a lady one day and was very polite to her, and she said she would notify her manager as soon as possible to take me off the list. Later that night I received 2 more calls!!! My boyfriend answered once and the girl hung up. Well finally two days went by with no calls and I thought they got the hint. Until today when they called again and I got on here to see what I can do. I am so utterly and completely disgusted with these people and feel like there is nothing to get them to stop!!!! Any suggestions??

- tlcpetmommyRead the previous posts. The only way to stop these people, is to report their call. And if everyone who posted here, does this, they will be stopped! File a report on each of these 3 agencies, for every call you get. If everyone did this - the number/caller would be investigated, and stopped!
donotcall.gov - file a complaint, even if not on donotcall listover 31 days!
FTC.gov - file another more detailed complaint such as # of calls per day etc.
FCC.gov -
On occasion, I have been known to pick up the phone, say hello, and then blow a whistle in their ear! Other times, I have told the caller, "guess what, you have just violated Federal Laws, have and will be reported again. Have a Great Day!" Then hang up! If they call again, I would repeat the message above, except add the time of times a complaint has been filed with the appropriate agencies.
Most hang up before the above message is finished!
Have trouble with Collection Agencies? Educate yourself on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act at FTC.gov and google Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Every collection agency that sends us a letter, gets one back - a Cease & Desist or also known as a Cease Communication. Sample letters are available via the internet. I am not an Attorney - but I have educated myself on Federal Consumer Protection Laws.
Collection Agencies, technically have no authority to collect any money from you. Your alleged debt is between you, and the original creditor only. Collection Agencies, try to create a contract / agreement with you, where non exist in the first place - via payment plans, so they will have authority to collect money from you!!
Get a Collection letter from an Attorney - not in your state! They cannot Sue You!!! Send them a Cease & Desist or Cease communication letter also. Just make sure, they do not have a law firm or offices in your residential state first!!!
Again, I am just an educated consumer, in Federal Consumer Protection Laws, and not an Attorney. The above is what I have learned, in my Educational Process, and through our own experience. I want to help others avoid the nightmare experiences I too have suffered, before learning the Consumer Protection Laws, that Collection Agencies, DON'T want you to know!!!- Caller: Toll Free
- StuYeah these guys have been calling me for months on and off. They are Windahm Worldmark and they sell "timeshares". If you actually go to their little presentation they give you free gas cards and other perks, but its really a waste of time.

- tlcpetmommyTelemarketers, such as this are violating the Federal do not call list.
Please join with us, and file a complaint at donotcall.gov. Together we can make a difference. Alone our complaints would likely go unnoticed.
The list is checked for patterns, such as a lot of calls from a certain #, patterns of calls before 8 am and after 9 pm, weekends etc.
You can also file a more detailed complaint on FTC.gov; again many complaints will make a difference, a few likely won't!!!
You can also call the number above and ask for an Address, then send them a letter to them something to the effect of:
Your representatives have been trying to contact me, however, I only do business of this nature via mail. Therefore, I am requesting again that you cease and desist from calling me. Please remove the phone numbers _______and _________. The calls constitute harassment at this point, which is causing a major disruption in both my business and personal life as well as being an invasion of my privacy, which I will not tolerate.
If you continue to contact me, I may file a complaint with the Attorney General. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991, which branched from United States Code Title 47 sect 227, implemented a do-not-call list from solicitors, which mandates a solicitor to abate phone calls to customers who have requested in writing to cease all phone communication. Please comply with federal law or a complaint will be filed.
If you have any questions, please contact me at the below mailing location.
Sincerely,
[your name / address]
Also, send this letter certified mail for a signed dated receipt back. That creates a nice record, of future violations, should further complaints need to be filed. Although so far, this letter has stopped all calls. Great for Collection Agencies also!!!!
Something I've also learned regarding my own research, as I am not an Attorney - but just telling you my experience;
Collection Agencies have no authority to actually collect money from you!!! Any obligation you may have had, rests entirely with the original creditor and NOT a 3rd party debt collector! Notice I put 3rd party, as Collection Agencies are a 3rd party, and has no authority to really collect, therefore you have no obligation to pay them!!!
Federal laws Fair Debt Collection Practices Act says, you can send a written request for the Collection Agency to "Cease All Communication" with you, and they have to comply, or they will be in violation of the Federal law above.
Go to FTC. gov and check out Consumer Protection Laws; or just google "Fair Debt collection Practices Act". You'll probably get links to various internet Attorneys-but they have good information and summary of the Fair Debt Collect Practices Act laws!!!
I hope this information helps some of you out there.- Caller: 866-303-3751
- rockerThey also got our info when we attended a bridal show. I don't think they really call you "out of the blue" or get your info from an update phone list. Just keep in mind if you sign up for a "win a car" or maybe a trade show of some sort that they maybe getting your info this way.

- ChissyI reported them to the FCC... we'll see if it works. I'm on the Do not call list and still, I've been getting calls every single day this week. It is really annoying. They call from different phone numbers, too.
- BrianI've been receiving these calls for the last few days on my cell phone. I answered the phone to see who it was, and it's somebody trying to sell a vacation package. They mentioned one of my friends signed me up.
After some investigation, I found that a friend of mine had signed me up. He played a "win this free motorcycle" game at our local theater, which was sponsored by Wyndham Vacations, and after he entered they called him with a time share offer. He signed up for it, and put my name/number as a person who might also be interested. They called me back when he first did this, and I told them never to call me again. That was months ago, and I haven't heard from them since, but now they are calling me 3-4 time a day. After reading the posts here, I called them and left voicemail to take my number off their call list. If they call me again, I'm filing a complaint.- Caller: Hybrid Call Center

- Jen35xStarting calling me on 18th of March and 3x aday since. I don't pick up the phone to answer the calls. No messages have been left. I googled the Phone number 1-866-303-3751 and it brought me here. I sick of these people calling me 3x day everyday. One would think if a person doesn't answer their phone in the week or return their phone calls, to stop.

- Listed1st.comSimply a Timeshare company doing it's thing, Trendwest Resorts, Part of Windham Worldwide. It appears that this particular call center is an outsourced group. If you let them know you want to be on the DNC List, they typically comply. I have no beef with them, although they could spread their leads a little thinner, I've received 5 calls in 24 hours. They way it works is they have a stack a paper leads, most of which were entry forms to win something, getting on the DNC list typically means they just throw your lead in the shredder. The name they asked for was the nickname my brother calls me, so I'm pretty sure it was him. I did telemarketing for years, and I got plenty of people who's kids would enter them in, or a friend as a bad joke. Just be polite the first time, but if there's a 2nd time, pull out the stops! I've actually been to their presentation, it's a sales pitch, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being a passive sales pitch and 10 being the timeshare salesman from hell, they're a 4, they'll ask for the sale, and work to overcome objections, but don't make you feel like an idiot for not buying...

- AnonymousYeah, it's 10:47 am (Eastern Time) Wednesday April 2, 2008. I received a phone call from (866)303-3751, asking me if i was still interested in applying to college.... I never made a call to them looking for information. The young lady who called me said that she helps people gain information to colleges worldwide. I think that's very mysterious...... hmm...
- hatehatehatetelemarketers replies to JenniferShe's a dumba** for many reasons. If she calls you numerous times daily while you're at home and busy or just away from home period, yes it is annoying. Just because some people show anger differently than you do does NOT mean they're a dumba** or as you put it a piece of crap. When you ask them to stop calling repeatedly and they keep calling, it's even more annoying. And yes, if someone calls people and tries to scam them, it IS a big deal. An identity is stolen everyday and that's not a big deal to you??

- GotchaThis is a list of the addresses and phone numbers for Wyndham Vacations in South Jordan, Utah. There are several of them listed. I like to switch these up in my effort to waste these people's time. Give it a try! One day I will ask them if they have enough life insurance and the next I will ask them if they are happy with their phone company. Maker sure you keep them on the line as long as possible. Nobody likes telemarketers.
