- Carol O replies to DfFiling here doesn't do a thing. Nothing is ever done. I file complaints and still get the calls. I even filed with BOA to stop selling my #. It doesn't work.
- Carol O replies to Megan MillsThey are Telemarketers, that is why. They make money by conning you. That is why I paid my BOA card off in full. The interest rate was killing me.
- Carol O replies to G$I filed on BOA site to have my name taken off their solicitation list. It doesn't work. They only call more. Like parasites.
- Carol O replies to Megan MillsWhat they are calling for is to take your money for services you don't need and don't want. Parasites.
- RichThis number continues to call my home. I don't answer because it doesn't whom the caller is.
- TickedI never answer these callers, as this just lets them know your number is good, then it gets spread around even worse. I receive calls from them sometimes only 25 minutes apart, sometimes 5 or more times per day, sometimes daily, at all hours of the time between 8am and 9pm. This is really harassment, just because I have a BOA CC card and they may have the right to call, they do not have the right to harass. I have just filed a complaint with national do not call as we have been registered with them since their inception.
Perhaps there is a way to computer generate jillions of calls back toward them to jam their lines constantly, anyone know how?- Call type: Telemarketer
- STANLet's fight back. Call BOA at 800-432-1000. Speak to ANYBODY on ANY extension and tell them the truth. We are doing this to annoy you the way you are annoying us. If enough of us tie up their lines the head honchos of the Bank just might get the message.
- Jim in Texas replies to kt| 1 replyThey just won't take no for an answer. They have called me from three diferent numbers now (866-801-8625, 866-801-8623, 866-315-7101) with the same lame sales pitch about credit safety, other services ect. Next time I'll try & get a name and when I stop doing business with B.O.A. I'll give them the morons name and why I'm quiting them!
- MegThis number is a multi-time daily annoyance I have experienced for over a year now. I do not answer any of the known 800, 866, 877, 888 numbers. In fact, I often don't even bother to check the caller ID to see if it is a local call and turn off the volume. The value of Caller ID. I will get rid of my LAN line ASAP when my net connection can be changed. Apparently there is really nothing one can do that is effective. So, I quit agonizing over it. I will periodically check back to see if anyone has a better idea or the laws have changed or I can end my LAN. Wish my LAN had selective caller block but it doesn't and I resent having to pay more monthly money for such a service if it were available. My cell is more useful for now.
- Trumppet replies to Jim in TexasIt's crazy, but I even spoke to them once and explained I had a better insurance plan than the one they offered. You would think they'd stop calling after that... NOPE
Desperate times I guess. - KTThis phone number appears on my caller ID every day, sometimes more than once. I am on the Do Not Call list, for all the good that does.
- tired of them calling replies to Gail Blagg| 1 replycalls 1 or more times a day, ask them to quit calling ---still getting the stupid calls. on the do not call list for many years, wish we could bring charges against them.
- Michael K| 1 replyI answered the phone - They asked for me - I said "Speaking"
The rep said "Oh, thank you." and terminated the call.
B of A Telemarketing is handled through a company called Dial America
They are nationwide. I believe mostly Cleveland, or Chicago handles their calls. What's annoying is: I have Comcast for my phone service, and the Call Screening allows you to add 800 type numbers to be blocked - this one - refuses to be added to my list. They called me last week Friday and now today Tuesday 5/5/09 When you call back it gives you a blurb and an option to be added to the Do Not Call List. (Yeah, right!!)- Caller: 1-866-315-7101

- Carol HNot including the calls for the past several weeks, my Blackberry has received seven calls from this number in just the past two days, four yesterday and "only" three today (so far) - the first today was at 9:09 a.m. and the most recent was at 8:45 p.m. The robocaller left a message twice - another credit card interest rate reduction telemarketer - the same message I've received on my Blackberry for weeks and on my home phone for several months (also from this number).
