I too recieved a check from Novartis Pharmaceuticals corp. Same letter as everyone else. Letter from CITI FINANCIAL. Phone no. 866-853-9422. Payment Handling Officer Mr. Paul Anderson or Ms Julia Jones on Tel: 866-853-9422 between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday (EST) for instructions on my payment. Thank goodness for the internet and for everyone posting on this site. Makes one wonder tho, with all these going out how many are responding and being taken. Why have they not been caught? Hmmmm perhaps there are people in high places protecting them. I am making copies of all info and check then turning it over to the authorities.

Perhaps we should figure out a way to make these folks famous.

Dated:  09/05/2013.   I guess they're at it again. I just received the same check for $2,400 with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp on it. Says I won some sweepstakes.  It looks so legit.  Says I could get $50,000. It supposely came from Citi Financial, one Health Plaza, East Hanover, NJ  07936

Just recieved a check. My husband said, it's real, it's real. Let's take it to the bank. Had a waterseal mark on it and all. Ha!!! I'm waiting to get my letter from the bank  with a smiley face on it declaring another fraud! No....I didn't go to buy a money pack as they insisted. No....I won't be out of any money!! It's a shame that some people chalk it up to plain being lucky when they recieve such a letter. No such thing as Too Good to be True. It more that likely is. Gotto keep my husband guessing though, he's waiting for UPS and or Fed Ex to come knocking. Guess he really thinks I'm going to buy a money pack from Walmart.  Ha!!!!

I just received the exact same letter, amounts with check of course.. looks legit. but was too good to be true.. Don't cash the check !! Taking mine to news media, lets see what happens..

I just called the actual Novartis Corporation and they claim tis is an ongoing scam!!! I do plan on calling the number to play with these scammers!!!  I'll be they hang up on me when I tell them I called Novartis and tell them what they told me!

Scam I received in mail today.  Called state attorneys office to confirm authenticity. Said there was no such thing asking for $900 in fees after they sent me first  check of $2500,

11-12-13 -   the number is now 877-666-7689 what a scam

Just rec'd a check for $2,437.49 - all you have to do is send them $980.00. Big scam! Payment handling officers are Mr. Paul Anderson or Ms. Malie Frank. I googled the tax officers name - Mrs. Grace Morgan and found this site. I figured it was too good to be true.

Just recieved one of these letters, with the same amount as above: $2,437.49.  The latest number is 888-908-1003.

A report has been filed to the USPIS with a link to this forum as well.  Thanks everyone for reporting.  Stay safe!  If you get it, try USPIS.gov as well.  More complaints hopefully they'll be able to nab this scum.

I got the same letter about $50,000 winnings with check for 2950. funny thing is the check is United States Treasury 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC. 20220
I wonder if the government knows there involved now.

I recieved it today and I deposit in my account. I had no clue it was a scam...what do I need to do now?

At Your Service Marketing - mystery shopping, supposedly - check from Citbank, N.A. , New Castle, DE

This is actually an FBI matter, because they are using the US postal service.  I have my "check", and I'm going to contact the FBI.  Everyone who reported the scam should do the same.

I don't understand the reason that Citibank in New Castle is not following up on these creeps.

I just received the same letter 6-26-14.  Same serial #286NC heck amount $2837 with $980 Tax Clerance Fee.  Cl Mesquite, TX.  Pomotions Mnagr Maria Sanchez and Tax Offier Grace Morgan.  Of course I immediately researched.  BIG FRAUD.
