- Doug| 10 repliesThis is some sort of Federal/State funded pre-foreclosure home company. Doing more research to determine if legit.
- Jeff| 2 repliesThey advertise on craigslist scamming pre foreclosed houses
- Deborah| 1 replyFound this one on craiglist. Got suspicious when the pictures didn't match up.
Feb 16 - $895 / 3br - 1910ft² - Three Bedroom, Two bath with garden - outdoor patio - (Sacramento) img - Lonnie replies to DeborahSame here. Says you can take over payments. If it seems to go to be true, it normally is.
- jimmy replies to Jeff| 1 replyare they a scam or are they legit?
- Hesitant replies to Doug| 9 repliesDid anyone find out what the catch is or if this is legitimate or not?
I called and they said there's a registration fee to set us up with a website that allows us to search for homes in out specific area. The guy (or at least I think it was a real person?) I talked to did also say they're Federally funded. Other than the registration fee for the website, he said there were no costs involved, and that if we didn't find a home we liked within 90 days, our registration fee was fully refunded.
I've been involved with scams over the phone before, so I was hesitant to give him any information since I was sure and asked if I could think about it and call back- to which he said it's hardly necessary, but sure. So I'm not sure if they plan to ask for a payment to get you started or not, but it sounded convincing? - AmyI was wondering the same thing about this place!!! Looks amazing... but too good to be true?
- Underwriter replies to Hesitant| 3 repliesScam. Verified.
- ziggySaw this on craigslist, looks fishy, so I decided to do some research online. But I haven't seen anything besides this page.
- NeedAHomeYou're paying for a list. I found them on CL too. The same pictures with different but similar descriptions but have different codes. When you call, they ask for a code and then say "That one JUSt sold but we have many more available". When I inquired further (as I haven't moved to the area) the person one the other end wouldn't give me any details except, when you get here, give us a call. I know people that have worked for companies like these until they realize they are in the business of duping people. Stay away. Or at the least, do your homework before giving them any personal info or money/cc #.
- kevin wI called on this same ad - house in South King County with patio and garden for $945 or thereabouts... as soon as I got the recording stating " a housing coordinator will be with you shortly" I hung up. About two minutes later my phone rang from a private number and when I answered the guy asked me if I was interested in taking over the payments of a home in foreclosure. I said " yes, I want the one in the ad," to which the caller replied " that one is already gone but we have several more in your area. What is the area you are most interested in? Seattle?" I knew he was going off my 206 area code...so I played along "yeah Seattle is good." He then told me I needed to get an up to date credit report with one of his special associated business scammers and once I did that he could help me with a free list of similar properties. I asked him if he was with ownerwiz and he stated that they work with several partners and he wasn't sure about ownerwiz. I jubilantly told him that I was already an ownerwiz client (not true) and then he suddenly remembered that ownerwiz is their parent company. So I hung up.

- BearCI think this number is a scam too! When I didn't give my info, he hung up on me??? So, that made it skeptical. Now, I provided my email address and that makes me nervous!
- Caller: Not sure
- Jack| 1 replyYeap, like the other posters already stated it is a SCAM!. You make the first mistake already by calling them, they will record your # and try to scam you in the future if they haven't succeeded now. Bad idea. Don't even call. The worst mistake would be to actually give them your payment info. That would mean your life is all wasted since you haven't learned a thing. Scammers are everywhere, everybody wants your hard-earned money and if you are still too naive to understand this then go ahead, waste it. If I really wanted to part with my money I'd give it to a charity. Better choice then giving it to a criminal.
Scammers are all outlaws. Remember this.
So don't be stupid, no such thing as pre-foreclosed homes at $800/month. Wake up. The scam is evident.- Call type: Prank
- Jack| 1 replyOne other thing if this was a legit company when you type the phone # in google it should take you to the company's web site or "Contact us" page. All legit companies have their own site. You got here because such company did not exist and the phone # was associated with a scam. That's what this site is intended for: to expose scammers.
- DianaI called and they hung up as soon as I refused to give them my card number. My co-worker called as well and hung up as soon as she requested information.

- crookbustaSmells like the scammers at American Standard Online:
http://flakelist.org/page/viewpub/tid/1/pid/3665 - sistayeah, they bribed craigslist to run about 16 spam ads a day, with fake prices, but craigslist thinks it is ok to run scam ads so blame craigslist.

- 866-344-3538I believe its a scam. I am glad I didnt have my card on me. When the guy asked me for it and I told him I didnt have it he said we can not go any further and hung up without letting me say anything else. As soon as I got to a computer I started researching. So glad I was not able to follow through. I can't trust Craigs List anymore because this is the second time I have ran across a scam dealing with them. They got me the first time but never again
- Caller: Tired of Craiglist Scams
