Does anyone recongise this number? I received a call from them and could not understand what they were saying. Very broken english, and they got angry at me because I could not understand them! If you're going to call someone, especially is your trying to collect a debt - SPEAK ENGLISH, unless of course your calling another country!
I don't have any idea of who they are though, but it sounded like the spill they usually give.

I just tried calling the number again and some guy with HORRIBLE english and strong middle eastern accent answered it as PBC - don't have a clue who that is - but I will continue to research, since somehow they got my cell #

I receive a call from these people at least once a day, they have never leave a message, but I figure if it was important they would leave a message.  I don't know if they are a bill collector or have the wrong number, I have A+ credit, so whom ever you are please leave a message.

This number calls once a day, usually around 8:00 p.m.  I answered once -- no one came on, but they called back immediately.  I let it go to voice mail, and the caller made it into some sort of obscene phone call -- heavy breathing.  

I have good credit, so if they want something, they need to leave a message.

You are assuming we owe debts.  This number does not leave messages, or leaves obscene messages.  *If* this is a debt collection outfit, they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Act and should be put out of business.

Well Mr PBC man (person)1st of all your company buys debts and then pays you very little to call on them. If you were truly in the business of trying to help, messages would be left, people would speak clear english when calling persons in AMERICA, and obsenties would not be an issue.
2nd i believe a debt should be validated, however you don't. I don't own you or anyone else an outstanding debt. I pay my bills, yet i continue to receive your calls. GET A REAL JOB, and don't tell others to co-operate, when your entire company is instructed not to leave messages, and to be rude.

this is a collection office, if you have a collection pending these are the people calling, and yes, they are i guess in India or some stuff like that because i can barely understand what he was saying

I called the number and said it is professional bureau of credit.

Received a call from this number at 1003 on July 14.  There was no response when I answered the phone.

These [***] claim to be calling from a company based in Colorado which is bogus. I get calls 3-5 times a day including Sundays which is against the law. I have no debts and they are trying to call someone who used to have my number. I tried filing a complaint with Colorado government agencies by they don't even know who these [***] are. It's time for the Feds to step in and stop these [***].

I totally agree with the very Strong accent. OMG I can never understand what these people are saying. They must be calling from "out" of the US or something,maybe not. Please put someone on the phone that at least can speak so that someone can UNDERSTAND YOU.

That is completely untrue.  Your company is one of the most unethical collection agencies out there.  You have been attempting to collect on a debt which is more than four years out of the statute of limitations and you have been trying to collect on someone who has been deceased for two years!  Get a life and a real job - quit bothering widows on items which are legally uncollectible!

I don't understand why the Professional Bureau of Collections would be calling me now?  The company that I suposidly owe money to has never attempted to contact me on a past due account and why would anyone wait this long to collect money.  I should not owe this company any money.  And though I have had transactions with this company, it has been at least a year from our last communications.  Whoever is calling from this number is rude and if you ask me sketchy and I don't know what to believe with all the scam artists in the world today.  If anyone has any info please, please let me know.  The Professional Bureau of Collections gave me a total of what I owed and the address of P.O. Box 4157 Greenwood Village, CO 80155.  When I looked online the only address that fit for this institution was 5295 DTC Parkway Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Why would the money go to a P.O. BOX? (Different Address) and on the official web site there is no record of a (866) number...Anyway we need to get to the bottom of this.

How can v leave a mesg, if u dont owe a debt, why dont u guys hv d guts to come online, n ask what is d call abt ?

If not then, u can hangup as u always do, n keep on filling pages like these. But u wont comeout of anything untill then.

1> If ur so legal, i think u require a brushup, a debt cannot b beyond a statue of limitations, untill it is 7 years old, go n get ur maths right....

2> If U owe anything towards a debt, dont u hv d ethics to pay on it, no matter how old it is.
