I'm also a Telus prepaid customer.  Answered the phone but nobody on the other end.  I hope they don't charge me for picking up a call from them!

As a pay as i go customer, i do not appreciate Telus calling whenever they want. They act like a second rate company and i am now going to look for another provider.

If you all have app phones simply download call blocker free and put any number on your blacklist. It will allow you to block both text messages and unwanted phone numbers. Easy fix ;)

Got a call today while I was at work (7 years after most of these posts). Only once so far.

Won't stop calling

Yeah. They just called me again today. Same time yesterday. Guess I have been naive in thinking it was actually Telus. Good thing I like pay as you go and am not interested in a plan. Anyway, thanks for the posts, I will report it.

I received two calls in two days from this number, both at the same time 6:53pm. It really freaks me out because I don't know who it is. All comments I've read so far freak me out even more. If it's fraud, how did they get my number? And if it's truly Telus, why are they calling me after their opening hours?

I to am a Telus prepaid user. I received a call from above number also. No message was left and I did not answer it. I tried blocking the number, however, it showed up as the number used is not the only number the person calls from so it cannot be blocked. I received a call yesterday morning at 6:30am. Cant say I was overly happy about that. If this is a scam then Telus better get working  harder to stop it. And if its one of their sales reps they had better give them some etiquette lessons on what is a proper time period to call people and especially those who work night shifts and only get home at 6am and then to bed to be rudely awakened 30 mins later. Smarten up Telus.

Repeated calls with no message left.

Most cell phones have a built in call blocker if yours doesnt then download one. I have a built in one and now blocked that number. Let them waste their times calling and calling with no pick up now.

kept calling

I have a pay and talk plan . I've been phoned a few times by this number but missed most of the calls. Finally managed to answer one today. I accidentally hung up within the first minute so I called back. They asked me if I wanted upgrade to 1 of 2 new plans. I was interested in the second option. They asked for my driver's license number so I was a little suspicious about that. When they asked for a credit card number then I told them I changed my mind and didn't want to upgrade then I hung up. Are they able to use the information I gave them in any way?

I am prepaid with Telus. If this number bothers you then block the number like I did. Most cell phone have that feature built into the settings for calls. Just look up the specs on your phone to see or download an APP that will do it for you. problem solved.

As everyone else has, I only have pay as you go. The number continues to call me every few days saying that they have a "better offer for me based on my usage". They have my name and some account info, but I have a git feeling against them. Companies don't call to give you offers, telemarketers do...

I am sick and tired of the calls from this number. I am disabled and looking for my phone, for no good reason, is awkward and extremely annoying.

I received a call from that number they left a message in english with a kind of robot voice telling me that they have a warrant under my name and that I have to call them back.  Good ! This is the new Far West.
