Yes, these asshats are annoying the hell out of me. I won't ever answer it, especially now that people are saying that this is a scam. Argh, they called once on June 18th and then 5 times the day after 9 times the day after that..and now my phone is off. Telus is such a crap company, time to switch I suppose.

I receive a call on my pay and talk every day from these jerks. I am pretty sure they aren't Telus....Telus texts messages. Going to keep my cell off for a while, see if they give up. With all the technology we have today you'd think Telus could put a stop to it!

this is TELUS ...the are calling asking people to switch from one to another plan or if some body do not have any plan on pay to go phone they try to get you on some monthly plan

Another pre-paid Telus customer here. This is [***]. I've been getting these calls at all hours and it's really getting on my nerves. Looks like it's a scam after all, isn't that great. Why isn't telus doing something?

Called the number and they sound like Telus, called Telus and they said they are not from Telus. Had the account blocked to telemarketer's

Telus Pay As You Go, received a call this afternoon 12:05pm, didn't pick up.  Did a search here and foun what we all have it common.  First call today.

I get the same calls went to telus and they tell me it is not their company and they were looking into it seemed to stop it is a scam
if everyone goes to the telus store to complain maybe they can start a cop complaint and it go away

Had the same stupid problem for the pat 5 days. I'm switching to Virgin mobile, Enough! Actually did a bit of research and it seems this is a scam, These guys copied the Telus automated messages and it;s my guess it's yet another Nigerian group. What pisses me off is that Telus isn't aware and putting a stop to this redirect. Switching anyway, tired of Telus crap!!!!

I've been getting these calls about 3 times a day for the past week.

I called the operater to connect me directly to Telus Mobility and spoke to them. I was told they have people as far as India for call sale centers and that it is a ligit #. For no reason should you be giving out SSN#'s unless it is a new phone so they can activate it. Even then you can go online to activate your new cell phone yourself.  If you have any concerns or questions call 1-866-558-2273 and that is the Telus Mobility phone number I was given to call them with any questions. I was served quickly and there is a report now going up the chain to notify they should be leaving a message. It is the sale department thats why its not a text message. Different departments.

getting called every day from 1-866-360-1448. From what i am readng Telus has better do something about his as they will be losing alot of customers

I receive calls at least once a day from this number and the times vary from the middle of the night to any time during the day.  I have not answered the phone yet, and no one leaves a message.  This has been going on for just about two months now.

they called me, talked to me about switching to a post paid telus plan form my prepaid account.
they got the information right, but when they started asking for my drivers license number and sin

I had this call at 7:59PM.  Seriously, what the hell!!! And I have a pay as you go with Telus as well.  I NEVER answer numbers I don't know, and stuff like this really pisses me off.  All I can say is WTF!

Why does it seem most people here are Telus prepaid users....

To whom is Telus selling this "marketing' information to? Sounds like this might not be Telus calling...but certainly sounds like TELUS provided them with the names of all of you.

So the question is...who really is to blame?

I have had this number also call me twice in the last few days, I also have a prepaid phone.
However a few days ago I contacted Telus about transferring my number to an iphone, the emailed me back.
Not sure if this has anything to do with that.
Can anyone confirm as to whether this is actually a Telus number or a Hoax
