    The Truth
The scammers are here in force trying to make their bogus offer sound good. Every "free gift" has so many strings and fees attached that it's esentially worthless.

Wow, what a transparently fake post. You are an amazing person. Think about it, most people who do what you do day in and day out would be so depressed and feel like such failures that they wouldn't be able to go on doing it at all, and would find a line of work that permitted them to get a good night's sleep, or would just end it all in the firm knowledge that the rest of the world and society would be better off without them.

But not you! No, your untiring resolve to go on living despite the total uselessness and meaninglessness of your life is truly an inspiration to us all. Thank you.

wary in Bama replies to Claw
I got the same special deal as Claw, but with a different phone number - 877-717-5847 offer # 3377.  Slightly different wording too, but "in celebration of your birthday" complete with IDENTICAL fake ticket information as on Claw's fake ticket.  Also has "fly a US Airlines" with US Airways flag logo and Thrifty logo. I've reported this scam to Thrify, US Airways, and the USPS as mail fraud.  I REALLY REALLY HATE THIS STUFF and wish I could double bump these cheats in the parking lot!  Great lesson in reality and fake marketing scams for my teenager though.

    it's BAAAAACK.... replies to ec
Man these guys never quit moving around!  Why?  Because if they stayed anywhere long we'd tar and feather them! Got same birthday offer in the mail but with 877-717-5847 number, offer # 3377, for free airline tickets and rental car (US Airlines (not US Airways!) and Thrifty). Guess they couldn't get out of the snow in Indiana this month so they're using the phone again.  DON'T FALL FOR IT!!  But to the "vacation resort sales staff" who post here, THANKS for helping me teach my teenagers a valuable lesson in marketing scams, bait and switch, and caveat emptor. My children are safer and smarter because of YOU.

I called the number.  It seems that this is a "travel company" having "seminars" across the country to introduce their service.  According to the agent, this is not a time share program.  It probably is a company like RCI that sales travel packages.  You may know RCI from the time share companies.  They use RCI for their weekend get aways or other vacation packages.  Be warned, this is a very high pressure sales pitch no matter what they say.  These places are not happy when you do not buy their product.  However, if you can stand the pressure, they have to give you the gifts listed.  At least, if your state is like Florida which has laws governing these companies.  They claim that the seminar is 60-90 minutes.  They will keep you as long as you let them.  They will last as long as you let them.  I have been to several of these meetings, one of these things took the over half the day.  They will keep calling "managers" over to offer you a better deal.  If you want to do this seminar, be prepared to be firm.  Tell them that you are just there for the seminar and your gifts.  If they push you on it, call the better business bureau and report them.

BAD ADVICE. The "gifts" are worthless and will actually wind up costing you money. If you have a whistle handy when they call, give them a good blast, otherwise just hang up.

Just got this swindle in the mail.

It's a fake cruise offer with lots of authentic-seeming code numbers and "VIP-Offer" numbers, etc.

The travel provider is unnamed, but the street address is the Courtyard Marriott hotel in Westport, a St. Louis based Business/convention center.

The offer is made in "Celebration of our St. Charles Grand Opening".  St Charles is clear across town from the street address.

The offer is for a Complimentary 7 Night Eastern or Western Caribbean Cruise for 2, leaving from "major ports" on the East Coast (?).  If I call "within 48 hours" to receive a bonus 2 round trip airfares leaving or going to any major airport in the continental U.S."

How would they know it's within 48 hours of my receiving a piece of snail mail.

    'Tis a scam...

Listed as Travel Provider:  All Points Travel 479 Commerce Drive, Madison WI 53719.  Address is for Homewood Suites by Hilton® Madison West.  It seems they just bounce from city to city using hotel addresses.  Might call and do it to go to a city I haven't been to, but probably won't.  I hate high pressure sales pitches.

So if you read the fine print it says "fly a US AIRLINES" as the tickets will cost you money if you get them at all. Us Airlines is a legitamite airline thats why they use it in the sentance because it rings a bell so it might be true?..... NO its a high pressure sales pitch to join a travel club offering tickets/ cruisesetc. IF you can use them the tickets will be off season dates with loads of paperwork hidden fees and usualy the flights/cruises or whaterever they are offering are extremely difficult at best to schedule for most people...and you can say that "by law they have to honor their advertisement" but keep in mind that "by law" you can't rob banks or steal cars either.
