Geez, I called the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and was told this company is a scam, I tracked them down to a place in Europe, the website is www.nhsonline.net they said they where a government grant agency and I qualified for a grant of $3500.00 for a processing fee of $29.95, I saw the withdrawal a week later and still nothing in the mail they claim they would send about this, figured a few days the grant would show up, about a week later they called me back at the same number, asking if I wanted health insurance, told them no, cause I cannot qualify, I am termanilly Ill and have state coverage, they hung up the phone, didnt think about it being the same number as the so called grant in caller ID: Gov Grant.  2 weeks later I see $299.95 withdrawen from my account, took my account way negative, called the bank reported stolen funds, called the FTC, called the BBB, bank is gonna do a affidavite on the company, hopefully this company gets busted soon.  I can't even get the required meds I need for my disease now.  I called the nhs number been told 48 hours they would have a response to being paid back, yeah right, asked if they had a legal dept, they said yes, asked for the number, said they didnt have one, WTF, I blew up on the phone.  Least I didnt get it as bad as a friend did, friend in hospital comes home to $299.95 deducted each week total 5x, got him for $1500.00, this is BS, [***] shoot these [***] [***] the jail system, wouldnt suprise me they funding Al Quida from stolen funds, IMHO...  What is more [***], I belong to the 800 Do Not Call List, another [***] violation of the FTC...  Is the FTC doing anything about this BS???  Whats more [***], my auto bill pay is now screwed, gonna loose phone service, internet access and rent is totally screwed!!!  [***] account is so negative I am [***] bricks...  I get paid next month...

Oh yeah the FTC refference number I got is: 11918593 from the FTC report agency...

don't give no information, I'm really scared what they might do, I have no idea, who they were

Just an update:  They got me again.  My bank (USAA FSB) did not send out the paperwork for me to dispute the $29.95 charge from the company (see posting above on 12 October).  I called the bank yesterday to have the papers re-sent.  Tonight, I see a charge from these people for $299.95.  My bank is still giving me a run around saying that I have to submit papers, and it generally takes two days for the dispute department to fax out the papers.  Then another 10 to 14 days to get my money back.  If someone has had luck getting money back from this company, email me at lamaybl5711@yahoo.com or post on this forum what was done and how it worked.

This company called me, stating that they were the IRS, they presented my confidentual information,"supposedly" proving to be ligitamatly the IRS. I in returned verified info. This company stated that I had over paid in my taxes and would be receiving a $500 return within 48hrs. To my dismay and disappointment, no such refund ever occurred. I immediatley followed up and called the IRS, to find out that I had been scammed and my peronal identification information had been stolen and used to take advantage of my hard earned income. Oct. 4th $29.95 was auto-deducted from my account and Oct. 18th 299.95 was auto-deducted, upon review of my account I was shocked and very frusterated, the deduction revealed this phone # 1-866-407-1029, and company NHS National Health Services as the culpret. I have further looked into this and have revealed this is a fraudulant company  a CON. who takes advantage of others. I have reported this fraud to my bank, local news staions, BBB, and the Attorney General. I have found several websites with other simular situations.

Sad thing is is that we didnt even give them out account number or routing number or anything. so how does that happen?

I am a mother of a 1 year old. I am working so hard to get my self estabilished. I work part time at a retail store making $7.50/ hr. trying make ends meet. I always looked up information about the Government Grants, hoping and praying that I could get some kind of help to make extra money at home. Finally I was recently able to open up a checking account after 5 years. I wasn't expecting Direct Depost to be active so quickly but it was. I went online to check my Transactions and saw the $29.95 automatic withdrawl. Because of that Transaction I am now over drawn and I can't afford to pay any fee's nor to just give away money regurdless of how much. Now I have to go through hell just to fix the problem. I pray that it doesn't effect my credit because I need all the help I can get to better my Credit. There should be more that we can do to people and companies that have no problem stealing and lying to hard working people.

What the hell, this damn company called me again exactly one month later on 10/27/2007 at 10:30 am PST, the first time they called was on 09/26/2007 at 10:30 am PST, stating they are a govt grant agency and you have this time qualified for $5000.00 govt grant, the fisrt time was $3500.00, I was like what the hell, I asked for their phone number and it was the same as in caller ID, and asked where they where located, they told me in Florida, I got their phone numbers did a trace and got this...

 Now this place is in florida, where they claim te govt grant center is, if this is the case, then why does the original caller id say they in maryland.  

 Ok, get ready for this, 15 mins later they call me again same tactic govt grant center, this time I asked where they located, they said florida, caller id says maryland, so I told them your not in florida you are calling from, you are in maryland, and they hung up immediately.  Well yhese people must be idiots, 15 mins later another operator calls me again same tactic, this time I asked for their federal ID number which all real federal agencies are provided from the govt, which they could not provide, which is a felony claiming to be a govt agency, then I asked for the federal tax ID number, this is the number the IRS issues to companies so they can hire employees, they told me they do not have one, right there this is a felony also, you can not have employees without a federal tax ID number.

 Well the verification phone number, I called it and got a computer generated voice saying this number is not in service, yet the number is in service, its connected to a computer modem in florida belonging to NHS, and without the 3 digits they caller company punches in, to start the computer voice verification system, you get the bogus, this number is not in service message.

 Well these idiots called me again, this time I recorded the entire phone call, which they admit too, they are a govt grant agency and an outside call center for NHS and they claim not to be a scam.  Well according to the FTC (Federal Trade Comission), this is a scam agency.  Any LAW ENFORCEMENT out there that reads this, I have an actual recording of them, and you clearly hear the recording beep in the back ground and these idiots hear this beep and never question it or even ask about it, a real govt agency always asks why they are being recorded...

 Furthermore:  My bank, Bank of America is doing an investigation, which I have signed an affidavit,  and to stop all future deductions from NHS you have to ask for a stop payment from that company to stop all future deductions from happening.  Cause if you dont, this will happen, first week first deduction $29.95, two weeks later second deduction $299.95, two weeks later third deduction $299.95, and so on...

 I have sent this to every media agency out there and hopefully one will respond to air this scam and make it punlic knowledge that this is going on, this company NHS is using the call center as a front which claims to be 3 things, they are a Govt grant agency, or the IRS, or the Social Security Administration, these are all felonies, to claim you are a govt service, possing as govt employees...   Also they claim they send you a welcome package which never shows up...  If you call NHS to stop or cancel your account and would like a refund, they tell you, you have to wait 48 hours for a response from corporate office, which doesnt exist, they cannot provide a number to corporate office, they said they get an email from them, I asked for the email address, they said they dont have one, if this is the case, how do they get an answer from the corporate office, I have asked to speak to the legal dept, they dont have one, well if NHS is a medical firm, how come they dont have a legal dept???

 Further searching and questioning these idiots I got a name from them as Chris Jordan being the owner of the govt grant agency that keeps calling, well Chris Jordan is the owner of NHS also, the company called claiming to be the IRS got the name Chris Jordan owns the operatons center, funny thing is one week ago the Social Security Administration called and got the same name as being the supervisor Chris Jordan, this looks kinda funny, Chris Jordan owns the entire govt???  Chris Jordan has committed 5 felonies by calling me with his call centers claiming to be all the above and I have all the proof you need, I am filing with the US supreme court a class action lawsuit and taking this to the US congresional court, I will be prosecuting NHS to the fullest of all applicable laws out there and for every law violated in every state he calls people in, claiming to be the govt.  

 This companies are also selling your personal information along with your bank information to ID theives and every other company out their that does criminal scams.

 LAW ENFORCEMENT needs to step up and stop this !!!!

 I am a computer systems engineer and have over 25 yrs in the field, I am a specialist in the computer age, I have done bank mainframes to working on NASA classified projects, to Govt projects.  I am at this time doing max research to expose everybody that is involved in ths scam, since the govt doesnt want to do anything about it, and law enforcement isnt doing anything about it, fine, I will find all the information and post my results to every media agency in the WORLD, about how our US govt seems to promote this type of illegal activity within the 50 US states of america.

 I have contacted in my area every type of media out there and am waiting for the results from that, if the media doesnt say anything on the news about this scam, then maybe they are just as involved in it, in my personal opinion.

 What scares me the most, Chris Jordan could be an outsource agency for funding Al Quelda, by running this scam.  Last to date, I have found he has scam more then 300 million dollars from people, and probably higher, most people just do stop payments and dont do any type of online searches for others who have been affected by this scam.

 Chris Jordan, you [***] with the wrong person and I will do everything to expose you, and you can tell your people to stop with the DEATH THREATS, I am terminally ill, gonna die anyways, my life dream is to end your scam now, thats all I am trying to stay alive longer for, to see that you get the maximum penalties this country puts on felons like you.

 BTW, all the numbers you call back, you connect to there verification computer that there companies are hidden behind, and get this number is not in service computer generated voice, they are hiding behind a computer firewall, which they use to call out from.  The netwrok card they are probably using is called a Racal-Datacomm card, that you can connect phones too, to interface with a computer to protect you from being called back on.

 Anymore information I find, I will post, I will probably also be making a second email account that all comments who have been scammed and for how much can be sent too.  As I will be filing a class action lawsuit to get all those affected there money back if it is possible to do.

I was also contacted with the IRS refund scam. $299.95 was stolen from my account, I got nowhere with my bank and with the number provided on the withdrawal. I conacted the BBB of Florida, as suggested in the above complaint (ealga8504) case # 91056192. Please take the time to go through and file your complaint. 100 complaints are needed to file a class action. Please remember 3 numbers to never give out over the phone and sometimes over the NET, SS#, ACCOUNT#, and CREDIT CARD#.

same thing happened to us...now we are fighting to get back the money they took out of our account...I feel like a dummy....I called them back and have gotten the run around they have withdrawn over $325 from our account!

29.95 and 299.95 were taken from our account....and like all the others they said it was IRS and had all of my info even my SS number. Like an idiot I repeated it all back to them...bank account info and all...we are so very po*ed that someone out there is this hurtful. Our bank is trying to help us get the money back now...but we aren't sure if we will or not...I want these people reported to the highest level of all levels!! It's illegal to take money from someone's account without their consent! We are also supposedly recieving health insurance and dish network...what a joke!!

this phone is not listed in my name, they had my name and address already
and said I was getting 500 for the next six months from social security admin
I stupidly belived this and now I found this site. I am so glad, I am going right now to close my bank account. Anything that is too good to be true is just that. A scam.
