They called and said that the U.S. Goverment has given me a $5,000 grant that will be deposited into my checking account before 3pm the next day. I thought it was true because about a week earlier i applied for a grant online through the goverment. I gave them my checking account # and rounting # and then waited. Three days later $29.95 was taken out of my account. I called 1-866-407-1029 and the said it was for healthcare. They denied ever telling me i was going to receive a grant. I got pissed and threatened to call the Attorney General and the Better Buisness Burea. They said within 3 days the money would be credited into my account. Im waiting for the 3 days and then if it isnt there im going to call them back.

i just recieved a call saturday Nov. 24th (they also called me on thanksgiving, but I wouldnt talk to them)  I was very suspisous when they called and have no job ad no income so I gave them info hoping it would be real.  During the call I continued to questione them.  The guy assured me I was not going to be charged anything even thou the recording says so I still need to answer yes.  His name was Nelson Martin and he said his federal Id # was NM1072 and his federal badge # was 5293.  Now luckily I have a bank account from collecting unemployment and am not charged any fees or anything on it once the account becomes empty it is closed so I used that info since I only have $12.80 in there. which I'll pull out Monday. I also called the bank and had them close the account (not that it matters). the recording said national health net will bill me but the lady said just say yes and YOU will not be billed thats only people who hav'nt paid taxes or owe taxes.

These scammer use the same trick on me and boldly took 29.95 and then again took 299.92 a total of 329.90. seeing my bankers on monday. If anyone knows a way of getting my money back kindly inform me through e-mail : revbliss3dee@yahoo.co.uk

i got the same call and it sucks i was hoping for that money to pay off my court fines so i can leave for the army in january and luckily i found this website before they took money out of my account but i did go to www.nationalhealthnetonline.com and its a different customer service number then the 866-407-1029 i called and i told them and they said that they were updating the website and changing the number its a stupid scam dont fall for it everybody should get ahold of the BBB or attoreny general and report these people

A guy called me and told me that I was going to get 300 dollars from the IRS. The call was very professional so I thought it might be on the level. They needed my account # to wire the money to. I felt funny about giving my checking account # out so I gave my savings. They took out $29.95 but I did not notice then they took out $299.95 and that sent up flags. I bank with Bank of America and they are great with fraud. The at BOFA helped me to put a claim on the company. The bank refunded me my money in full. They are great. The bank found the site for me and gave me some tip about fraud. I have changed my account #'s both checking and savings. God blessed me. I pray he will help you also for me. It was nice to know to be on my guard better.

Same exact thing happened to me this last week...and being in college i needed the 5 grand...what they said sounded right...told me i had recived a grant previously...which i did...they knew all my info already...so i went along with it and when the money wasnt credited i was gonna close the account...but i haddnt gotten around to it b4 the money was taken out...needless to say im also pissed

I felt like such an idiot... this just happened to me this morning.  Luckily I had a bad feeling as soon as I hung up the phone.  I am a busy mom and was trying to get my kids ready and off to school so I could get to work on time.  They had all my information already, address, phone, bank info....  I called the number they gave me along with the confirmation number and it was a 1-800 talk line with another number to call.  Luckily I wrote down the number during the verification process and found out it was this National Health Care Solutions.  I told him that there was a scam going on and he acted like I had called to place an account with him.   Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help put a stop to this.

the same thing happened to me: 29.95 was taken out of my account on 11/14/07 and then 299.95 on 11/28/07. im very mad and im going to the bank right now.

They got me too. from Nov 16 2007 a $29.95 charge was taken out of my account.  They informed me that I would recieve a welcome package and would have a chance to cancel my membership.  However, not before they told me they were Dept of Treasury.  I was also infomed that I had 30 days to cancel or would be charged an additional $299.95.  On Dec. 3 2007 they must have known I would recieve my direct deposit from Social Security on that date because they got me.

They called to my wife and got some numbers bank account adress and so on.
When the called us second time I asked them about Federal ID I've been given this GOV1613. Anyway I put a hold on my checking account and going to my bank in the morning. I amnot sure if this is importantbut all callers had an accent a believe indian.

Hey, the same thing just happened to me and I am now seeing the charge for 29.95 on my account.  I was wondering if u really contacted the attorney general or was it just a threat you made to them?  Also, who credited the accounnt, the bank or the fraudulant comapany? and how long did this process take? I was called continually and told I would receive a grant for $1200 deposited into my checking account the next day if I gave them my bank info. I hung up but they kept calling for days until I said yes and they didn't deposit anything but took $29.95 from my checking account and gave my checking info to Galaxy Gadgets who took $19.95 from my checking account. I called both companies and they said they would refund my money but it has been three weeks and nothing has been refunded.

they did the same scam to me. I was actually waiting for grant approvals though so I belived it. they have tryed to get over three hundred dollars from my account. I filed with the bank but now I'm going to have to change my account numbers. how do we find these people? I'd like to have a little face time with these people!!!

The same scam happen to me to. They called me they say the Im gonna have a refund from social security they will grant $3500 and gave it every month my dumb [***] believe it. They asked my routing and checking account number so I gave it. But I look on the internet and search the customer no. 866 40771029 they gave me on the internet and I saw all the comment here. Now I know that it is big time scam. So this morning I cancel all my account. I didn't  get any money from them but a headache.Moral of this "Dont give any information about you no matter what".

I also received a phone call with the numbers 1008 numbers on my phone. Saying that I would receive 500.oo for 6 months from the government for paying my taxes on time. They asked for my name,phone #, adress and bank information.
 I recieve social securtiy disabillity benefits so I thought that had something to do with the call. So I gave them my personal information.
I read some of these articles and realized I had been scammed.Thanks for the articles. I am going to report my inoformation to the office of inspecter general.

You were lucky, I screamed no I know this is a fraud and they still took $299.95 from my acount, how they got the numbers is what scares me. I knew they were trying to steal and still couldn't stop them.
When I called the bank they gave me the 866-407-1029 phone number for the company that took the money out, after a long day of dialing I spoke to a lady with the mideastern accent and she informed me they were national health. And they have a recording of someone (not my voice authorizing the withdraw).
What is this wold coming to? so I go with out food and lose my car and the [***] rage war
