Be very careful with these idiots.  My mom took a call representing PC Mastercard.  They claimed to be able to cut her interest rate to 2%.  It sounded great however she became suspicious when they started asking some info.  She already had a card in this case.  They stated they just need the last 12 digits of your credit card number.  It was provided before she asked for a call back number.  Thank god for the CIBC fraud center as 30 seconds after she hung up, she got a call from the fraud center asking if a $12,000 withdrawal from her card was authorized.  

I also work for a telecommunications company and know how the Canadian DNC works.  This applies to companies that are registered in Canada.  The US also typically respects the list.  Most of these calls are coming from centers in the Caribbean or over seas where they do not need to follow these laws.  Most legitimate companies dealing with valid telemarketers ensure you are not on the DNC list before sending lists to them.

I called back and got Gemma Communications. Again. I've removed my number from their systems many times in the past and reported it but I think they keep changing their phone numbers. Soo annoying!

We appreciate you are only donig your job however we request that you obstain from calling us in the future.

"Honey", you may be the one that is both sadly and sorely mistaken.  Look up the phrase - it exists whether or not you have heard of it.  
Even so, what's it to you? How does this relate to the topic at hand?
Maybe you should take your patronizing word police act elsewhere.

Buy yourself a call blocker like I did. I'm writing each number down that comes in so it will be added to the blocker once it arrives in the mail.

I finally answered after the 13 th call and told the lady to not call me again. I hope it worked. They called me everyday at 2 or 3:00 pm. If I hang up 3 times in a row, you'd think the idiots would get the hint.

My call block is full up!

Have received calls from these folks on and off for some time. Purchased a Panasonic wireless phone with call block and have blocked calls form this number. They still phone, but now it rings once (yes just once) and that it. Would be better if it sent a "disconnect" code but does seem to do that. One ring is better than many.  
Curious which "call blocker" unknown bought, from where, cost and how many numbers can be programmed. Only problem with Panasonic is it is limited to 30 numbers and it easy to reach that limit. In which case I remove the oldest, and replace it with any new once.

This phone number has been calling me almost every single day for the past 2 months. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Received call from this number. No one talked from other end and just hanged up after 30 seconds; I am regularly getting call from this number. Its quite annoying......Jayesh

this # has been calling all hours from early morning to evening 8 pm.  sometimes 4 times a day !!!  on the DNC list but apparently this is NOT helping.

This 1(866) 427-9161 is from Gemma Communications. Call them back and remove yourself from their list. Otherwise, they will continue to harass you.
