Called and left a pre-recorded message saying it was an attempt to collect a debt. They didn't mention the company they are trying to collect for. I am not past due on any bills so don't know why they called.

NCO systems , its a collection service.
I called them back and they said they would take my number off the list.

Same thing called left message it is an attempt to collect a debt please call this number and ask for Bill Decker. Never left company name so I don't know who this is.

Received several messages from a local "Payday Loan" place in my city, then stopped getting those and started getting these, every fricken morning at 8:30.  Never used payday loan and don't have any outstanding debts.  Guy is really annoying.

These people have been calling my house relentlessly, so I called the number back to ask to be removed from their list. I did get a real person, but the woman had a strong foreign accent and was hard to understand. I explained to her that I wanted my number removed from their calling lists, and I gave her my number... Then she wanted my SSN, and I told her I was not giving her that info, just remove my number from the list. So she hangs up on me!I thought this was EXTREMELY fishy. So I called back, and got a man with a strong foreign accent as well, and told him about the woman hanging up on me, and gave him my phone number so he could remove it. Then HE proceeded to ask for my SSN! I have never used a payday loan and don't have any kind late bills either..I also have my number registered with the National Do Not Call Registry, so I am puzzled about why I am getting so many of these type of calls.

I just got the same call from Phil Decker saying he represented a debt collection agency.  I think we should all call them every hour on the hour to tie up their phone banks!  I called the gal back and asked her what her SSN was.  She didn't have one, as she was speaking with me from INDIA.

I'm going to report these [***] to the FCC.

So i get to wk the other day and my manager tells me a so called lawyer Amy McDonald called for me saying that she was going to go to my work and serve me. Last I checked you don't call the person your  trying to serve right?. I know i have debt so im trying to figure out if this is legit. I called the "Law Office of Amy McDonald" and spoke to some guy named "Oscar" everytime I ask to speak with her shes either on "the phone or in court." I called my credit card provider and they told me they had sold my account and i called that collections place and they said that they didn't have the account any more and gave me the number of "BECKS CREEK INDUSTRIES" i call asking them for Amy McDonald and they put me on hold and all of sudden the guy who i originally spoke with "Oscar" picks up the line WTF!. how is it that hes at both places??. and today i get a call from 8664377403 and they left a pre-recorded message saying it was an attempt to collect a debt from NCO. I Googled Amy McDonald and found out shes a DUI Lawyer?. so i called the number on her page 9497192497 and spoke with her and according to her shes no longer affiliated with them.
Im extremly confused and im convinced this is a scam.
Can someone please shed some light?

These idiots never even called me, served me at work and made a big deal of it, is that even legal, don't they have to serve you at home? i got in trouble at work, is there anything i could do? The papers are from a Becks Creek Industries dont mention a Amy Mcdonald, but had this #, called and its about a US bank account i had about 3years ago?, can they even suit me for this?

Recorded message saying it is in regards to collecting a debt. We have no outstanding debt, our credit reports show nothing of the sort, FICO score is excellent. The call never mentions the name of the person with the outstanding debt, and we have recieved nothing in the mail from any company alleging that we owe them.

Caller ID only says "Out of Area" with no phone number showing.  The two voice mails left appear to be an actual person at first saying only that the phone number to call is 866-437-7403 then there is a click & it's like a robot recording giving a Reference ID number with a lot of metal hitting metal type noises in the background.

I received text messages from this number 1-866-437-7403 but i think they are impersonating  this company NCO Finicial Systems,507 Prudential Road,Horsham, Pa 19044

They keep calling me all day long. Sometimes 3x a day and leave their stupid message. I am not behind on any thing and have never even heard of NCO until now. They are really starting to piss me off.

Check your state's statute of limitations.  Some states have 3 years & others are 5 years.  After that time they can't do anything legally.  They'll try harassing & threatening you to get you to pay, but can't do anything after the statute of limitations runs out, except for taxes, child support or government loans.  Statute of limitations runs from the last time you made a payment or charged anything--any activity on your part.

Received A call on Sunday after 6pm Caller ID says "out of area"  the number is 1-866-437-7403. Picked up the phone 2 seconds heard a click and hang up.
According to the Federal Trade Commission and the FCC these are "abandoned calls" I have been able to determine this is the Notorious company NCO, a group of low life bill collectors. I have a current registered complaint against these dirt bags with the FCC. I unlike so many others in this forum DO have outstanding debts, however in my case these debts are past the SOL (statute of limitations) in my state, actually past the SOL in many states and each time a call is received it is a violation. Each violation can result in a monetary settlement for the violations. Make sure your on the Do not call list with the FTC first and that in your state you are past the SOL of your last activity on your debt
then log your complaint with the FCC and FTC. Keep a list of the calls for proof. Its simple, don't just write into forums and complain go after these scum use the internet. They do..

NCO Financial Systems. You can have your number removed from an account but the NATIONAL NO CALL LIST has NOTHING to do with numbers PHYSICALLY listed on an account sent to collections. Let them know it is NOT your they are looking for and not to call back. If it IS YOU then stop complaining and pay your bill. If you do not answer they will put you on an "auto dialer" which runs about 2- 4 times a day.
