- AaronStarted getting calls from these jerks a few months(either June or July 2010)saying that they are trying to collect a debt. Never who from so I have no Idea which credit card is trying to collect. I suspect Capital One as they recently garnished my meager savings account one day a few months ago. Just a canned automated robot message never a human being. Or nothing at all just their blasted phone numbers
which also include 866-576-1447 as well.
Now I keep getting daily calls from these nitwits every day on my cell phone asking for a "Damon Massell"(I'm not every sure how to spell that name) and another one for Synot Betell(again I'm not sure of the spellings of these names.
My cell phone is on National Do Not Call database and I still get calls from them on weekends(both Saturday and Sunday twice a day!! To make matters worse they are calling my cell phone daily twice a day!! It's gotten to the point where I'm paranoid to even answer my phone anywhere I go! I'm sick and tired of the daily harassment from these jerls!!
So in order to fight back I've sent several often daily complaints to the following government agencies for help with these [***]. They are : The National Do Not Call database, The FCC(which has sent my mail confirming my complaints), the FCC, the BBB, and The Pennsylvania Attorney General
I'd like to get some help from a lawyer about this but I cannot afford one and I cannot pay for any credit card repair work. I'm getting tired, angry and frustrated that the government agencies I'm complaining to aren't doing their job and going after these jerks.- Caller: NCO

I'm feel like I have hopefully gotten rid of these scammers!! The phone calls have stopped since August 20th, 2010!! I did this on Wednesday and they sure shut up fast!!
If you are being bugged by them do what I did in my last post and this one!! I know I'm happier that I'm not being harassed by them anymore!!- Caller: NCO

- Dad replies to BrendaThe problem with statutes of limitation is that if your debt has expired according to the statute and you acknowledge you have/had the debt then the statute is renewed for another X number of years according to the statute in your state. Best not to even answer the phone or add it to a deny list per your provider's features. With COX you can add the number to the privacy control list and your phone won't even ring. I repeat, DO NOT acknowledge the debt to ANYONE calling about it, just hang up without even saying hello, they'll do everything in the book to trap you. Once the statute has run it's course there is NOTHING anyone can do, they can't evey sue you and if they do then you can sue THEM for suing YOU. I speak from experience.
- Dad replies to Little JohnnyNCO is famous for purchasing debts that have passed the statute of limitations in an effort to get you to acknowledge the debt. Once you fall for that, the statute starts all over again and then they can sue you. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT answer the phone if you see NCO or that number on your caller ID. They cannot sue you once the statute has expired.
Note: Even if you are posting here that you acknowledge a debt for which NCO is calling, you're out of luck if NCO is lurking here. Don't put ANYthing past these people. - ButtBuster replies to donYou can't even write English, good luck!!
- Dad replies to turtleObviously someone else they are looking for as a 13 year old cannot be held responsible for a debt much less contract for one.
- Dad replies to DakkAbsolutely NOT, don't answer or attempt to explain anything. They already KNOW that the debt has passed the statute. They are attempting to get you to acknowledge that you have/had the debt after which you're dead meat.
- NCOBuster replies to NonaiiI sued them for calling me over 400 times in less than 6 months in an attempt to collect a statute of limitations expired debt that was already 3 years past the 5yr statute time. We settled out of court. No more calls.
- Dad replies to AaronI would never send them any sort of faxes for any reason as all they are trying to is to get you to acknowlege a debt that is past the expiration date of the statute of limitations in your state if that is the case. Never acknowledge a debt with these people.

- ABCHey you debtors!
What do you think?posting these kind of massages will help you to pay your bills on time n get rid of bill collectors?I don't think so...
U cheaters!first you don't pay your bills on time on top of that you wait for statue of limitation to get over...and then cry for collection calls n write about them on a stupid site!!!
Wow great job!!!
Don't you guys get tired of running...I mean running away from your responsibilities?
Don't you dial a wrong no in ur whole lifetime?can't u talk to someone live n get your phone no removed from the calling list instead of hanging up on an automated machine?
You talk about calls to 3rd person about your debt...if you are so bothered about your son, dad, mom, uncle or any other family member or relatives or friends or may be your reputation among them then why can't u just call that no back and pay the bill off try to make any kind of arrangements suitable for your finances or I would say try to show your gud intentions towards your debt n try n work out something to get that resolve?is that so difficult? - Don replies to donWait until the table turn on You!!
