I received two calls that were left on my voice mail.
Both were from a (forceful) voiced woman who called herself "Liddy Kennedy" stating she was a "recommendation officer".
She went on to say that a claim has been filed against my social and I needed to call her back within 24 hours.  I was told a final determination with the result of hardship of fincial difficulties would result by not calling her back.  The second message was pretty much the same but the case date changed to one day later -
I called the FBI and told them what had happened.  Unless I have suffered amonetary loss of $300,00.00 they will not follow up due to allocation of resources.  He told me to ignore the calls.  So I suggest everyone beware and ignore the calls.  I will be following up with the real SSI office, notifying my bank and credit card companies, getting a credit report and consider changing my phone number.  The number she gave was 866-471-7100 x 3827.

Mr. Herrington called me with the same information about all my relatives.  They haven't called them anymore after i told them the only number to reach me at was home.  i got a letter stating that i need to pay an amount by april 30. and another rep.  lisa givens has been calling me and when i told her about the letter she seemed suprised.  i had to read her the letter word for word.  she wanted a check by phone right then. i mentioned something about a scam and she laughed and said how is it a scam its all you info.  it was all my info, but i told her i would call her back the next day, she tried to convence me to give her the check over the phone by telling me that it wouldn't post to my bank account until a coulple of days that would give me time to get the money in there.  the she wanted to now how sure i was about paying the amount.  like she really needed that money for herself.  i told her i would call her back the next day and she called me then next morning, but i didn't answer.  when i did call back the 866 471 7100 number it was disconnected.  so i'm gonna check into somethings before i give them my money and don't get my debt paid off.

Well today I received 4 call from those guys but I asked the guy why he want me for so he started talking and talking about a important situation but I told the guys sorry I don't speak English and I understand you that this is important but if it's to really important well find me for someone who speak Spanish lol!!!

Wednesday, July 8, 13:15. Call from "Zachary Fields"; Caller ID CTI, 773.265.2600 He left a voice-mail message to call him back @ 866.471.7100 Ext. 2654. Said: "Don't ignore this call! Call back to get the matter cleared up."

What a joke! Anyone who falls sucker to this scam deserves to lose their money!

Receiving many harassing phone calls from this number.

I have received calls from this number several times recently and haven't called back. They call and asked for me under the name I had ten years ago. I am remarried and am pretty sure I owe no one money from whenever. What do I do to get this stoped.

i got couple of incoming calls from CTI but i never answer them instead i blocked them,they are so annoying knowing that i dont owe any penny from them.

I have recieved phone calls from this number and they left three messages that were very aggressive in nature.  They were asking for my wife.  Today I answered the call from CTI and spoke with someone who was for sure from the WAY DOWN IN THE HOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said his name is "Zachery Fields "  A very rude uneducated man/boy?  Talking like it was all up in there and stuff like that..........  Wow would not even let me speak.  OK so here is the answer if you have digital voice from comcast you can have up to 12 specific phone numbers that you can block!!  Pick up the reciever and press *60 and then follow the menu.  Oh I did call ummm  "Mr. Fields" back and I told him that I googled him and he said  " I don't give a fu***** if you giggled me giggled me gooogled me or what you done did if you what to know about Mr. f-----ing fields Iiss talk to ya all damm day.  I just told him that if he wanted to really support his wife and chitlens then he outta get on up outa there and get a real job.

This afternoon I received a call from a Ms. Crosby from CTI.  She asked for my first name only and my sister's middle name.  I thought that was weird because the only person who knows that name is childhood friends.  She doesn't even claim that name on anything.  Then I checked the ID and started doing research and realized that I am having the same problem as all of you. "Ms Crosby" left amessage indicating it was about 'Dobyen'.

I received a call from 1-866-471-7100 and they said they needed me to pay on a Citi card account I had that was over due. They mumbled and were very rude and it sounded messed up. I called citi card and they told me they used CTI collection services as their debt collector. They do all the things listed on this website but apparently they are a real debt collection company. My mother received a call from a man claiming to be Ray Roberts.  Said they paid a bill for Home Depot for her and that she had to pay them back or he would report her to the credit agencies.  He told her what her social security number was, which is scary.  When he asked for her bank account info, she said, "no no no I am not paying you anything over the phone."  And Ray Mocked her, saying "YES YES YES.'  My mother yused to have a Home depot account A LONG time ago and paid it off and closed it.  I beleiove this is the same company that calle dmy husband a few months ago and told him he was in collections for a direcTV account...and we have never had direcTV.  The guy gave us the address that the services supposedly was at and an account number and a case number.  I called directv and they had to do a fraud investigation and everything.  He also had my husband's social.  How are these people getting this info?  It is very scary.  Don't give them any information!  I work at a bank and our collectors would NEVER recite your social to you or mock and threaten you.  This number needs to be

Call coming from CTI and they just hang up.  Sometimes they ask for me if someone else answers the phone and they hang up on them.  Does anybody have a clue who this place is?  I called CTI, the collection agency, because that's what I found on the Internet but they said they don't know anything about calls to my phone number.  I'm starting to get really ticked about it.

Got a call from this number which left a message on ansering machine with music first then some guy asking for someone (first name only) with alot of noise in background like he was on a public phone. Sounded like the guy standing outside a liquor store asking for spare change, didn't identify himself then before he hung up you could here him talking to someone, music playing, etc then more music and hung up. This doesn't sound anywhere near a legitimate call because of the unprofessional message left and no person by the name he left doesn't live here either."IF" this is somehow legitimate why don't they identify themselves, leave proper information to call back on and person calling sound like some guy on a public phone?

My sister, received a call on her home answering machine from a Ron Smith, saying he's been trying to contact me and that she was my ER contact person.  He states I need to call him at 866-471-7100 ext. 8989 as soon as possible.  In the meantime, they also leave a message w/ my parents, stating, "Mrs. XXXXX, "not sure if you know what's going on but I need XXXXX to call me at ..."  I'm sorry, but I keep a tight reign on my finances and credit reports.  Never heard of this company, don't know what they want, but to make my sister and parents freak out..., this message made me angry.  I'm thankful for this site.  Now I'll be filling a complaint with the FTC.

A woman by the name of Susan Wallace called my brother asking if he was my relative. He told the woman that he was my brother and she asked him to tell me to please call her back at 1-866-471-7100 ext 2644. when he asked her what this was for Ms. Wallace said that she had spoken with me before and that she attempted to call me, but my mailbox was full. Once my brother told me that I knew something was not right. First of all, I have never met or remember speaking with anyone with that name and I couldn't understand what mail box was full!!! She also said she was calling from Chicago, so what!!I called and I heard the machine say the company name is CTI. Thank god I googled this.
