- Anonym replies to hmmmIn response to your comment. Well how about these damned lenders that do not send any documents and just continue to debit money out of people's accounts, do not call the poor [***] and continue to rip them off without notice. I borrowed $200, told them to cancel, they did not. Then they continued to take $60 from my debit account for the next 6 months and that comes out to $360, then have the nerve to tell me that I still owe them $286 because I was paying only the interest on the account. Finally when I stopped payment, they threatened to take me to court and harass me and tell me I was committing internet fraud. Well these PDL Lenders should be shut down. They are not getting another penny from me and I will report this to the attorney general. I called 866-504-7548 and requested an address, contact person, account # and they refused, so kiss my ass!!!
- SDboyA Sammy Wilson called from PDM. He said he was a process server. Trying to locate my friend. Isnt PDM just a collection agency? Isn't it against the law for them to try and pass themselves off as a legal firm? ie. Process Server. I even called the number back....and asked if they were a law firm. They said "it depends...who are you?" of course I didnt give them my name. Anyone know about these folks as attorneys?

- WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE??Got a call from this number. Immediately when I answered a recording came on asking if this was "my name" and if so, press 1. Whatever name they said, they couldn't even pronouce it right and it wasn't even mine! I pressed 1 and another recording came on saying please hold and somebody would be with me. I waited about 5 minutes and nobody answered. I hung up. I wanted to tell them they have the wrong number and person. Very weird...

- SeanCalled and left a message that went something like this:
'This call is for Mr. (me), my name is (whatever it was) and I am calling you about a very important matter. If my firm does not receive a response from you by close of business today I will have no choice but to take further action.'
I don't owe anyone anything, and this company has been calling claiming I placed an advertisement in a newspaper 2 years ago. I own my own company, but never once placed an AD. When I asked for a copy of the order, or a proof of the advertisement the collector referenced an old landlord of mine and a conversation he had with him that proves the debt is valid. Talk about reaching? He finally emailed an invoice that supposedly validated the debt he claims is mine. A document with no signatures, no address, no invoice number and no order. Just a bill stating my company owes this debt.
This collector is rude and belligerent and loves the sound of his own voice. It's almost as if he calls just to have an argument instead of collect this supposed debt. I think it is an attempt to fish for personal information.- Caller: PDM

- What nerve some people have replies to p davisIt's so funny. I've gotten several calls for a man I've never man. My mom has asked them not to call back, so I stayed on the line to ask him not to call back. I was nice, until he was loud and rude. I don't owe them *%$! and I'm not taking a cussing. I'm sure he thinks I'm nuts, LOL; but who the he!! cares.
- Credit debt freeGot a call from this number, but when I picked it up all I hear was a female say "Hello" and then nothing. They haven't called back yet. Since I have no outstanding credit or personal loans, I can only believe this is a scam outfit.
Put them on hold. If they're still there after five or ten minutes, don't let them ask any questions and never confirm any personal information they might have. Instead tell them that you will not deal with them by phone, ask for the caller's full name, their manager's full name, the company's legally recorded name and mailing address. If they ask why you need it, tell them it's for legal purposes. Then send the letter at http://www.fair-debt-collection.com/Disputing ... ute-letter.html - Mila replies to gingerNope not true a judge has to grant them a money judgment first your employer doesn't have to honor a contract you signed with a cash advance company to let them garnish your wages.
- Mila replies to hmmmListen you obviously don't know what you are talking about. These people are calling and harrassing us and most of us don't owe the money and never took out a payday loan to begin with. I applied for a payday loan online and was denied my loan for whatever reason, I think it was because I receive a paper check and not direct deposit, but I entered all of my bank info routing numbers and references online on the online application (which was a big mistake won't ever do that again, silly me!!) and that is how they got my personal info but I never received such a loan and they have any proof that I did, and I have the bank records to prove it so these idiots need to get a life and go F themselves and stop harrassing and threatening innocent people like me and countless others who do pay their bills on time. If I owed the debt I'd pay it!! So know what your talking about before you make comments like that, This is a total scam and these people need to be stopped NOW!!!!!!! You're probably working with them making statements like that!!
- mila replies to TREYSONGZThese people are really starting to piss me off! If you paid the loan then don't worry about it just ignore the calls. I know its hard because they call me every day too, now I just send it to voice mail. Sometimes I answer and play with them, it gets them mad, Or I just blast some Uncle Murder Rap lyrics in their ear from my stereo every time they call, they don't like that either. The calls stopped for a while but they started up again. I think this time I'll blast some Snoop Dog or 50 Cent see how they like that. LOL!

- sammy| 1 replyI spoke with PDM and they said I had a loan and they want to settle for $590 for a $250 loan. They want it in two payments. I paid them $275 and lost my car insurance b/c I paid them b/c they said I would be charged with writting felonious checks. Which is a lie. I wrote a post dated check, not a bad check. Then I asked then to settle with the $275 I paid to I can get my car insurance back and PDM said the loan company will say no. PDM didn't even try to settle they are actually going to keep trying to collect from me. I am struggling mother with two kids. I did pay $275 at least thats better than nothing.

- Richard West ESQ replies to sammyTo Sammy,
It is very discouraging to hear the practices they used to collect on internet loans. I would strongly urge you to STAY AWAY from online lending, it is a predatory lending practice. The contracts they have you locked in are ridiculous, however when you accept the deposit your pretty much stuck. If you have already authorized payments you may want to try and keep them just so that they do not try to go after you for bad check writing, depending on what state they are located in, they could cause an even bigger headache for you if they are able to and decide to prosecute. I feel horrible that you have lost your advantage and that they are sending a single mother through all this. From my research I found that they rarely settle and are jerks when it comes to trying to get a payment plan. Good Luck hun, if you already authorized a payment through your account you may want to make good on it, and thats just my professional advice. - FRANCINE replies to AlfalfaI have sent them several debt validation letters to several addresses and I just get them returned as undeliverable. What do you do when they refuse to accept your debt validation notice, they won't give you any fax numbers or address over the phone and continue to call you at your job at least 10 times a day? Help!
