Got a call from this number claiming a civil action was pending, but when I called them back no answer and someone named Stephanie, left the message

I got a call...civil action pending. They were calling to verify if I was home so they could deliver documents to sign which never arrived. Highly suspicious they told me i defaulted on a credit card and gave me the last 4 digits of an account (which I checked and never had). I also ran a credit report and it wasn't listed there either. The name of the firm was Avery Legal Services, which I searched online and couldn't find.

This number came up as Unknown Caller, I didn't answer. Then they called my sister first asking for me, a female named Alexis Parker calling from Process Dispatch saying there was a complaint made regarding my home and she gave some file number.  I called the number a man picks up, I gave him the file number and I asked if this was a scam he gets smart and says this is a legal firm and I can wait for the paperwork.  I'll wait!!

Called from a no caller Id...never answer they left a message to call the above phone number. When I did they said a pending lawsuit for unpaid credit card balance from credit card. Avery law firm is what they were calling from. Either pay now or lawsuit will be pushed forward lol what a joke these crooks needs slaps!

Same as above - case filed against me in Sacramento County. Gave invalid case number. Called to find out more about them and got voice mail.

Called and left a message claiming there was action to be taken if I  didnt call them back, they knew my address, gave me a file number for my case and said if i dont call back then im giving consent for any legal action the persue

Same , some girl named Sabrina... Ridiculous!!! Time to change your number again, this one is burned out dummies!!! I worked for a collection agency and quit due to scams!!!

They called, left a threatening voice mail about being served so papers, along with a case #

Called from an unknown number saying there's a pending lawsuit with unpaid credit cards and they are trying to serve papers. ( What a joke!) Who calls you from an unknown number? Big time scammers!

Fraud:  Voicemail from Unknown caller:  Claiming to be Kelly from National Processing regarding a litigation against a relative.  Said relative provided my number as contact.  I don't even speak with this relative and he would never have my number. They knew the county he lives in. Gave me a case # and said he needed to contact them ASAP or matters would be worse.

got this call today it come up restricted they said my husband had someone file something against him and he needed to call them back she gave this number and a file # and then when he call back they tried to get him to pay them a 1000 now are they were taking him to court and  that he did not have any other chance but to pay it NOW!! so hung up phone!!

Same thing happen to me. I got ahold of someone when I called back, said he was at a law firm and I owed $ for a card, HSBC?, for charges made in 2016. Never had a card from them, didn't even have a credit card at that time, they had my current address but never received anything in the mail, nothing on my credit report. Scam!

Scam, been called several times trying to contact a relative of mine over pending “litigation”. Report them and threaten your own legal action if they ever call you again. Avery Law form my ass.

I got a call from what I believe is this place also. They are claiming legal action. Though I never received a letter from them. That they claimed they sent. When they pick up they say "Corporate," cause she said its the corporate office.. Its called Avery legal something. the number is different then what you posted.

I received a voice mail naming a relative by their maiden name which they haven’t used in years claiming paperwork would be served today and to call back with the file # given. The phone number showing on caller id is 281-824-3245. The phone number they left to call back was 866-429-0042. I called back and a female answered “Corporate office”. I asked who the company was and she answered it was Avery Legal Services. So it looks like the company has changed their number.

Today I checked my voicemail and a woman named Mary called and said that I needed to call them back in regards to a medical monetary dispute. I called the number back, and spoke with a Daniel Sanchez. He went on to give me a case number, which was left on the voicemail, and actually had my social security number, old address and I then was very worried. He went on to say I needed to resolve, or come with a resolution. The amount was 1200$.  He was talking fast. I interrupted him several times and asked what Medical Institute was this, when was this, and how did they get all of my personal information? To which he said HIPPA  was the reason why he could not tell me over the phone and would send over an email which took 4 hours later that came from someone named Rachel Simms that is a some sort of documentation to sign. I have not opened it and will keep it in case of a lawsuit. I'm sick of this. I was never in the hospital last year as he stated the filing was for.
