- Joanne Whitei keep getting phone calls from this number never leaves message and when I answer they hang up. What can I do?
- IkkesThis number is from card company that represents Macys and Bloomingdale
- Call type: Debt collector
- ChrisIf you use a Macy's credit card, you should know there are TWO different due dates for your purchases.
1st due date= for all purchases made at a Macy's store or at Macy's Online.
2nd due date= for all purchases using your Macy's card which were NOT made at Macy's stores.
The (866)-593-3926 phone number called me because I did NOT pay by the second due date (the purchases I made outside a Macy's store). I thought it was a fraud because they asked for my information, but it's not.
I thought by using the Macy's card, all of my purchases (whether at the supermarket or at Macys) would be under one bill and one due date, but it is NOT! One bill is for Macy's ONLY, the other bill is for American Express.
Solution: I called the number on the back of my Macy's card, and immediately paid off the amount due to American Express. Then I was given the phone number of the credit bureau to call and MAKE SURE that this mistake I made would not be reflected on my credit history.
I was a new Macys Card Customer so this was all new to me. I made a mistake. I hope this helps all of you.- Caller: 1-866-593-3926

- M replies to INYLIA| 2 repliesHi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I called Bloomingdales because I do have an account with them to double check that this number was their credit service that they used and BLOOMINGDALES themselves confirmed that this is the number they use for a credit service. It is apparently legit but either way NEVER EVER GIVE OUT YOUR SOCIAL TO ANYONE EVER! There's another number they use 800-243-8412 that is also a credit service. I called that number and ripped the lady apart bc it sounded real shady. Immediately asked for my account number and to verify my name but didn't tell me what the name was to verify. Told her she was a shady scammer and told her to go [***] off but then I called bloomies (I had actually missed a payment which has never happened before.) and now I feel kind of bad lol. But they were soooo annoying. Just wanted to let everyone know it's a credit collector....

- MB| 1 replyI've gotten three calls on my land line from this number today and there is nobody on the line when I answer - just silence. When I've let it go to voicemail, the caller has not left a message. None of the people associated with our land line number has a Macy's or Bloomingdale's credit card. So even after reading the comments in this thread we are puzzled.
- MB replies to MBUpdate that they called several more times. I called them and learned that our landline number was given by someone named "Steve Hanson" that they have been trying to track down regarding his credit card balance. I asked them to remove our number from their lists and stop calling me. Was told they would do that. As soon as I hung up the robocall called again. So I called them right back and they were very apologetic. 24 hours later and no more calls.
- JjLeft a message saying they were from Macy's American Express and to call regarding an important matter. We don't have Macy's cards.
- Caller: Macys American Express

- AnneCalled me 14 times this month. I don't pick up because I am at work, but the times I have, they already hung up. Once I picked up and it was machine saying it was regarding my Macy's Amex card. I paid off my card so I have no idea why they're calling.. Finally decided to block them after finding this page.
- ElizabethReceived 5 calls from this number within 6 minutes while on a work call. They did not leave a message
- a.kischkat18665933926 demanded my macy's or bloomingdale's account number claimed that something is wrong with the account, which is not, I didn't provide any information. called in recent weeks every day at least 3 times and hung up after 3 rings, very annoying.

- kimI received a call from this number but didn't pick up since majority of the time it's a scam or telemarketer. I always look up the phone number on this site first to see who it is and since all the previous posts mentions macy's visa, i decided to check my acct. My account showed past due. I'm glad I checked in time bc I don't want my credit score to be affect.. I'm sure it was a simple reminder.

- spamMagnet replies to MJust want to let you know something that not a lot of people are aware of. Scammers use a technique called spoofing where they a legit number to show up when calling to disguise themselves. If a company calls you and right away asks for your account number DO
- spamMagnet replies to MI was trying to type (unsuccessfully) ... DO NOT GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER OUT TO SOMEONE WHO CALLS YOU. If they are calling you and they are legit, then they have your account number. If you have already given your act number out you should contact your cc company immediately and let them know someone called you, verify they are the ones who did and if not have them put a stop on your account. Good Luck
- albuquerqueI'm getting two calls from this number everyday.. One at 8 a.m. and another one at 8:30 to 8:45 at night.. So far, this is the most aggressive and harassing call I get. I get many.. I have an account that is on auto pay, so I know I'm not over due on a bill.
