I had a call from them about a personal matter saying it was regarding my macys Mastercard but I do not have one.  They were wanting my account number.  Nope! Aint' gonna happen!!!!

This number calls constantly. I googled and saw it was a scam. Called them back, played along. They asked to check my acct by the phone number receiving the call or my FULL SS#. Obvious red flag. Gave them my land line#as they were calling me. She said ok who is this? I said who are you? Blah blah she refused to tell me anything about my (alleged) acct without first having my ss#. HELLO TAX SEASON SCAM. And why hasn't this # been shut down yet? Just got home and saw on caller id they called 5 times in 30 min.

So if it's Macy's. Why don't they identify themselves.    Odd. When I call Macy's they say their circuit is full and call back again later.  Been trying for 3 days. Can't get thru to anyone.   Really weird!!!!!!!

Forgot to add.   Call this number and get a recording that they are all assisting others. Then answered by another recording saying the call will be recorded and they are all busy assisting others.   Back to really funky music and periodic "still assisting other customer blurb". Bad music then Mary Fisher with Account Service answered eventually asking for an account number.
 Come on!   If we don't know who you are then how do we know what account number you want!!!!!!!!

I was called by Nationwide legal services out of Arizona 602-256-9700 and spoke with Molly Hart for a RAG Firm at 866-593-7636 and they wanted me to verify my social security number via them saying it outloud, would not stand for me verifying my address or anything else, called back and spoke with a different person that states that the person I was on the phone with, (orlando) was sitting right next to her. [***] them! I am not stupid, I do not verify my social, ever!

Got a recorded message to call that number.  I have a Macy's red card but not Macy's Amex. Sounds suspicious. Number to call back is same as in caller I.D. But since I have a 0 balance, likely a scam call.  Tried to call but got a message to call back due to high call volume.

It was listed as a toll free number. It us a scammer I'm sure. Don't answer or call back.

Keep getting calls from this nimber 6 to 8 times each day.  I called back finally and they said they were from Macy's and Bloomingdale credit services.  And when I told them I never had either one of these cards they asked for my phone number so they can look up the account.  I said I will not give my phone number to them.  And they said then they can't look me up.   I told them I never had these cards again and to stop calling me.  Since this has not worked I blocked their number.

My 94 year old mom has been getting up to 4-5 a day from this number   How can they be stopped?

Hi I just answered my phone & it was a recording telling me to call the number back.  I did & they asked for my credit card number.

I too received this call several time. I finally call them, they said it was about a pass due bill. Come to find out, i had upgraded my Macy's card and had not paid the bill in a few months. I told her I had been paying my bill online to Macy. She said it was regarding another Macy account I had with a credit card that I had upgraded. Their records were only showing payments to the Macy card not the upgrade credit card. They never tell you will have two Macy's accounts when you upgrade. So where is my money. I should have a credit somewhere. They found it problem resolved.

My mom was receiving these calls last week. TIt was someone claiming to be from Macy's and trying to contact me. Yet they called my mom's house first.  I just now received the automated call myself. Will not call back since this site clearly describes this as a scam.

It's legit. It is from macy's. I just called to macy's customer service. their rep said it's from them. call the macy's credit card department and ask if you have any remain balance on your credit card.

I am receiving call from this numer every day,
When I talk with them,it's big scam,
Thay are calling from phillipine, saying your payment is due , where as 2  day before I make my payment in store, we can take payment by credit card , so these people just ripoff your money
Macys never call there customers

Just block these numbers when you don't recognize the number. We got verizon to block all overseas numbers when a caller began stalking me from Kingston  Jamaica.

I've been bombarded with similar calls this week - and this one reached me this morning, 1-27-17 @ 8:31am.  I'm becoming an expert at deciphering these calls, truly, and being on the DO NOT CALL registry is not a deterrent.  "They" have found a way around that, obviously.  Anyhow -- If you do not recognize a number, do not answer it.  Were it genuinely important, a message would be left.  Never give any caller your personal info unless you have already verified that the call is legit.
