I received a call with a voicemail saying to call 866-607-3223 with the reference number 110003. I do have loans but I know the company who handles it and this was not them. This seems like a scam. You will be notified by FAFSA or the lienholder. This company didn't leave any info about who they were even when I made a callback.

Just received the same message from Shirley BAtes to call her back at 866-607-3223 with ref #110003.  SCAM!!!

Got a call earlier today from Shirley Bates re:  student loan payback.  Call her back at (866) 607-3223, Ref # 110003.  Now that at least two people have the same ref #, has to be a SCAM.  And FAFSA will notify you if there are any issues or plan that need to be changed.  Don't call.

Same... Just received the same call. Caller ID came from Louisiana. But left the 866-607-3223 ref ID 110003

The number that showed on my caller id was 575-459-9187.  The voicemail had a female voice stating her name as Shirley B something.  Needed to speak to me about repayment on federal loan and to call back at 866-607-3223 reference #110003.

Same reference number SCAM!  This is why I block all phone numbers that are not on my contact list.

i just got a call from shirley bates with reference #110003 about student loans but i never went to college

I also got this call from Shirley Bates re REF# 110003 from 866-607-3223 for my student loans 'a payback program'.to  I cb from my employer's number to avoid my home# being listed as active from calling back and this was clearly a pre-recorded scam message. I also had no notifications regarding my student loans from my lender to make this seem legitimate at all.

Received a call from Shirley Bates Ref 110003 from 866-607-3223.  Said it was regarding my federal student loans.  So I'm glad I googled the number and read all these comments.

same as other callers - same VM, file/reference number, call back number, etc. - we are in our 50s and have not had student loans for 30 years

This chick left a message in my vm about my student loans. I'm 49, disabled and unable to work...I surely didn't take out any student loans!! I hate scam artists!
