No answer they are calling a business line

I actually have a Walmart MC and received a call from the telephone number that is printed on the back of the card. The caller ID showed WalmartCard. But. since I know that I don't have credit issues with the use of this card, I decided against dialing the number from the voicemail record (no message was left) and instead manually called the same number (the call received from this phone number is the same one listed on the back of my card). The customer service representative reported that Walmart didn't have a record of calling me after I told the person that I was returning the call. I also told the customer service representative that, as far as I'm concerned, I don't who called me since no message was left. So, I'll just ignore the call and will only call using the number on the back of the Walmart MC for good measure.

Wamart credit card offer...............after you give them all your financials you will be living under a bridge soon. Block or don't answer this low life bottom feeder.

Called about a walmart credit card I dont have. This is 2019 and I see the same posts about the same number dating backnto 2017 and yet noone has managed to cancel that number or trace the company. That is BS

ROBO SCAM call.  No answer when picked up.  I greatly appreciate the comments provided by others that have received calls.  I knew it was a SCAM call because the phone rang.  SCAMMERS!!!

Marketing call. Robocall.  Waste of time.  "This is your last call to be able to reduce the interest rates on your credit cards."  I only wish that were true.  I'd love for it to be the last call.  I have a feeling I'll get a thousand more.

Those people have been using this scam # for years!  You guys are re;porting it to the FCC, no?  I hope they can not only bust the company but the woman who made the recording

Caller ID: TOLL FREE CALL.

This number recently called the office with one of the usual robocalls from Cardmember Services about having a 0% interest rate. If this number actually does belong to Walmart, then Cardmember Services must be spoofing it for their latest batch of robocalls.

If this was actually from Walmart, they should have their company name as the caller ID - so am suspicious that it’s spoofed. One of our local tv stations had a story about scam calls last night; according to their information, there are 47 BILLION scam calls made every year. If you get a call from a bogus caller ID, that’s illegal. So are pre-recorded sales pitches (robocalls), and calls to numbers on the do not call list. It’s harder to block scam calls to landlines because most aren’t connected to computers. After watching that, am really thinking about getting rid of my landline. It’s the phone I get most scammy-sounding calls on, and might save me a little $$.

866-611-1148 - 'Unknown name' was caller id & no message left - typical of marketing/soliciting. I'll add it to the blocked list.
I have a landline and use a wired ATT 'smart call blocker' answering phone.  Over the first 2 weeks time since programming it has had somewhere over 50 calls and not one of those calls has rung through.
“Hello. Calls to this number are being screened by Smart call blocker. Please say your name after the tone, then press pound.”
    “Please wait a moment while your call is connected.”

No one spoke.
