CID read Wallmartcard-robocall reads lower you interest rate on card

they called today. now the hard truth : do the providers know about this scam? of course they do. But do nothing because it generates revenue. scammers call, leave a message? you call the voicemail. or you get scammed? more calls to fix it. or you search the net ? more data usage and so on : plus regulations are getting lighter in the US ... the hard truth!

Credit card scammer. Beyond livid that these clowns can continue to call my business 10-15 times a day from a different number.

Typical credit card scam:  "This is an important message regarding your current credit card account we have made several attempts to reach you this is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate press one to speak to the Member Services Department Or press 2 and your eligibility to lower your rate will expire. "  Looks like they have been at it at least since 2014.  Do people still fall for this?  My caller ID only said "From Toll Free Call" .  Looks like this may be a real number for "Capital One Walmart Card" (I called it and this is what I got).  I am sure it is a spoofed number and this is a phishing scam from India.

Cardmember services. I pressed one to talk to a rep and then I Called him a scammer and blew a very loud whistle in his ear. Foreign accent, Scammer.

These phone calls are invasive, interrupting and unwanted. Keep phone lines clear for important calls. Sales calls. Don’t want any.

Says they are from Walmart credit services regarding my Walmart card. We don't have one. Blocked the number.

Robocall at 117PM Tuesday. My credit card account is eligible for lower interest rates.

Asked for my credit card number..I told him that you must be crazy . .then hung up

Got called from this number. It claims it's from Experion, a credit score company, with a way to lower your credit score. It's a SCAM, trying to get your personal information. Don't fall for it!

Why would you want to "lower your credit score"?  That would mean that you would pay higher interest and have trouble getting loans and insurance.

Calls many times a day. I have never had a Walmart card. My Wife has never had a Walmart card.
