- StargazerThis company is total [***]. I agreed to pay them on a set day each month and that lasted for 2 months then they pulled it out a few days early and now over a week early. I am so pissed off with them.

- AmyAt first it was an automated number and for me to call back to have my number taken off their list. They said they would after explaining I didn't know this "Brian" whom they were calling for. I just hope they will remove my number as they said they would. I was being called several times several days in a row.

- oh heck no!So this # called me @ work and states that she is with Praxis... She asked to speak with me ... I said that it was me and she went into telling me that I owed $415.00 to some payday lender - NOT TRUE. I took care of it. I explained that i had a ceased and desisted letter with the original creditor. Isn't that supposed to be attached to my file? I said why are you calling my work... She said because I am able to and continued to talk over me and yell at me! what gives her the right ??? ... I asked her several times for the address to her company and she kept telling me tat she would send me a letter. i said I want your address several times. She finally gave it to me a said it really fast ( she didn't know that I had already looked it up by the phone # ) I then explained to her that she is fully aware that she cant talk to me the way that she was talking to me under the fair debt practices act. She also knows that my c & d should have been attached to my file and then I hung up on her. She did tell me that she would take my work # out of the system. Very very ignorant!

- NAcheck out MSN Money today and there is an article listing the top 10 scams of 2012, and lo and behold, this little scam is on the list...and I quote...
"Top advance fee/prepayment scam: Nonexistent loans
Loan scams tend to be advertised online and promise things such as no credit check or easy repayment. However, you have to make the first payment upfront, buy an "insurance policy" or pay some other fee to secure the loan. This past year, there was a new twist on this loan scam: Consumers were threatened with lawsuits and law enforcement action if they didn't pay back loans they said they had never even taken out in the first place.
According to the BBB, some victims were called at their workplace, or their relatives were called. The embarrassment of being thought of as a delinquent caused some victims to pay even when they knew they didn't owe the money, the BBB says."- Caller: dont remember

- frank replies to Nickclose that bank account asap before more damage is done.
- josephI have the same issues with them, Frank Lucci and his supervisor, they are trying to collect a debt that I want to pay, but when pulled my credit report is at least 2 times less than they are charging me. I have never heard of this before.
I emailed a very detailed letter to headquarters (http://www.praxis-financial.com/index-4.html) and then had my lawyer call. And the tone change right away and basically told them if anyone calls my job, or me, or give any information to anyone who's not me, we'll file a law sue against them. And that I'm not to be contacted until a proof of debt letter is sent to me with all the info and a way to get ahold of MSW Capital.
I suggest anyone here with problems to do the same. Also file a complain with the FTC- Caller: Paxis Financial Solutions

- Debt Free on East CoastI've been debt free since March of 2012. It rouses my curiosity that my caller ID shows this number since the only accounts I deal with now are all monthly billing statements which are paid in full each month. I have received some calls from collectors looking for someone who was never at my phone number in 9 years of having it. Maybe someone intentionally gave away my number or has handwriting where one or more numbers was misconstrued.

- countrygalJust got a call however they didn't identify themselves on the voice mail sounded like a sales call. But after reading the posts above I will just wait for them to send me the required letter telling me who they are and asking me to respond within 30 days if it is a valid debt. Until then I don't have to return the call. I use to work for a collection agency about 15 yrs ago and although I wasn't a collector I still had to know the PL95 law and once you tell them to stop calling in written form they must stop. So unless the laws have changed. Wait til they send a letter and respond in that manner.

- FED UP WITH THESE TYPESThese people called my work and gave a false reason for wanting to take to me. Said our company put a stop payment on a check and needed to clear it up. When I called they were trying to collect a debt for something that was not mine. Where do these people get of doing things they know are against the law, and why do the FED's do nothing about it. They have the fair debt collection act for a reason but no ones seems to make anyone adhere to it.

- manyou must be a sucking deby collector.......phish somewhere else
- attorney replies to Martin AlbertFirst off you are supposedly a "licensed" collection agency in which, I see several lawsuits and complaints against this particular company and see NO license to collect on debt what so ever. It IS against the law to keep harassing individuals that may or may NOT have taken out a loan by some company by calling their place of employment and the individual has informed you to stop calling them at their work place! You may have some consideration of that individual not knowing him or hers financial situation and therefore has stopped paying them for circumstances beyond their control. I'm sure you that since you work for this particular company you yourself, may have been in the same situation one time before. So stop acting like you are God's retriever and being all mighty by threatening people with wrongful collective practices!
- PattyHad a message from Mike Ladd asking me to return his call at ext #106. He did not say where he was calling from. He did use my first name. I unfortunately do have dealings with Praxis financial if that is indeed who called.
