Well, well, well......I found this post and just had to leave a message in regards to the number 866-611-8672.  Just got off the phone with an Ethen Mason (Like how they use American names) but the guy was not a good enough actor in my opinion.  Neither was Juliat the lady that I first spoke with, giving me lots of compliments about my photos, trying to sweeten the deal. Couldn't understand 1/2 of what she was saying because of her thick accent.

I actually decided to do a little voice over acting myself (being as I am a professional in the Industry) and picked their brain about what oportunities they had for me.  They were trying really hard to get me and asked me if I had any prior or professinal experience in the Industry.  Mind you, they have my photos in front of them and my resume posted through Explore Talent.  Which by the way, I have tried on several ocassions to delete my profile and it will not completely delete.  I can log in and delete resume and other information even some photos.  But, it keeps one of my photos on the page and its been there ever since.  Now they of course offered me an audition for a film coming to my area....okay...the pay of course is usually some high claim of $759.00 a day.  When I asked Ethen, if he could tell me what the film would pay for non-union members he responded with "It pays $759.00 a day for both non union and union"  Really? Same pay? Why pay to be SAG then if I can score SAG pay scale jobs this easy?   That answer alone was a RED flag to me because I know that non union members do not get paid a SAG (Union) pay rate!!! Under certain circumstances would a non union talent get paid a SAG pay rate and that would yet remain to be decided by the producers in charge of the film.

I contacted Explore Talent to let them know about this scam and they then tried to tell me that it is not associated with Explore Talent.  Lets give them the benefit of the doubt that yes...maybe some scammers are portraying to work for Explore Talent and ruining their good name.ha..ha. :D
However, when you do a search in Google and find so many complaints about this company....website name and in http://www.ripoffreport.com/modeling-agencies/explore-talent-explo/explore-talent-exploretalent-ezaez.htm  complaints.

People, I'm not here to tell you anything you don't already know about this company but to remind you that if you are serious about acting or modeling go to a local legit licensed agency or casting director agency and sign up in person.  Also, don't be afraid to do a background check or credentials check on any land based angency.  They don't and should never charge you a ridiculous amount just to join.  There is NO guarantees in this industry and yes not matter what these people tell you....you do have to go in and audition in person.  Ask questions, but know the right questions to ask.

The scammers that called from the 866-611-8672 defenetively only wanted money.  They don't care whether or not you can afford it.  Anyone that sounds desperate or makes it sound imperative for you to join NOW (last day to submit you for this casting call) is preasuring you in to handing over your money.

NOT Stupid!!!!  This is to the scammers that tried and will sooner or later see this post. :D

Yeah they called me just now and they new my name the creative director that called me was Frank Miya
he said he wanted me to pay 70 dollars to start for the casting calls for my looks and voice!
and he was trying to get me to use my credit card to pay for it. I been in a lot of casting calls this one is really a scam. my first time I actually believed them that was when I was 16 with a credit card and they wiped out my bank account after I sent them 900 dollars.
and then trying to get money out for another audition no money in my account so yeah its fake dont believe anything they tell you cause they are just trying to get your money.

Thanks for posting..they called me out my sleep with this BS today. Note on Explore Talent I didn't even finish the profile or submit my damn number how they got it beats me. So anyway the guy is like are you sure you want this confidential information about the gigs I been selected for because I don't sound too enthusiatic. Letme remind you I just woke up, and why can't I just remain humble why do I have to jump up in down about a simple phone call? I wasn't going to get my hopes up, for what could be another attempted scam. The accent didn't through me off, the background noise in the back sounded recorded-like, however. He told me to call him back when I was ready, but something told me to google the number and I came across this site. Thank goodness for google, because thats how I been catching these scammers lately. Because you were the first post I read, I want to give an extra thank you to you

I Received a call yesterday from "Explore Talent"  Got a call three times in one hour, so I picked up to see who it was.  I spoke with a woman named Angela, with an extremely heavy Indian accent.  Gave her the benefit of the doubt for a few minutes, but come on, this is ridiculous.  She said that they were casting for two feature films in my small town in CT and that I had been selected from a slew of other aplicants.  Then she asked me for $70 for 3 months so that she could personally attend to my account and supply me with  even more "dream come true" opportunities. That's right she said that this opportunity was a dream come true... hahahahahaha!!  STAY AWAY!!

I got a call from a woman with a heavy indian accent while I was at work.  & I didn't even remember signing up on this website.  I'm pretty sure I didn't even complete the sign up.  She tells me about some casting director & how she'd be my liason & w/e.  She also stated that she called me because they've sent emails in the past & I haven't responded to any of them.  That's because I never got them.  I just got back home & checked my email account to find them in my SPAM folder & it was a 2 sentence email sent like 6 times with a link to exploretalent.com.  Also, when I asked her if she could send me an email summarizing all the information she was telling me she said she's only supposed to call me & couldn't do that.  But was able to tell me what my email address is.  SKETCH  Definitely not calling them back.  She started to piss me off when I was asking her legit questions & responded with I hope you are serious, I hope you're not just trying to get me off the phone, why can't you call me back tonight?  BECAUSE I'M @ WORK?!?!!?!?!?!  Also I asked her up until what time could I call her back tonight & she responded 6pm.  She called me @ 6:05pm & kept me on the phone until 6:30pm.  & had said that they were located in NY.  Clearly something is not right.

I just received a call from this number and as I've not registered this phone number with ANYONE for ANYTHING, it struck me as odd that a toll free number would be calling me.  I answered the phone thinking it was a collections agency (times are rough right now) with the phrase "Hello, I have no money..." and they just hung up.  Try that phrase whenever you get a call from someone that's calling about money.  Saves them time and you aggravation.
