I just received a call from this number, a man saying that he was a director, and that i was selected for a acting and modeling casting, is this real or not??

Got a call from Manjula today, cant' really put my finger on where these MORONS got my Skype # because I rarely give it out. I think it was probably F*****G Craigs List... Go Figure, A SCAM on craigs list, WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT! It must be in India's constitution to scam Americans. Tell them if they want your money to contact China...LOL!!!!

Got call from this Number he said his name was Marvin Smith!!!! Told him I wasn't home at the time said was very important I got back to him since he had a part that was perfect for me in a movie. So i ask he had a ext i could reach him at he said yes ext 134, Funny part is that he gave me this number, but the number my caller id read was this one 1-530-663-0712. The reason for the intrest in me was my long silver hair!!!! I guess he'll be waitting for my call for a long time!!!!!!!! ja,ja,ja,ja!!!

I got a call from this number too, I didn't pick up, but they left a voicemail saying they were from Explore Talent, and that my "profile"(???) seemed good enough for an acting position in my area.. it was some guy with a weird accent..

We are hiring make up artiste in Asia who are coming to the State because we have some asian scenes to be shot and we are recruiting some of the best asian make up artistes to work with us and as you know, in film production, getting the crew to location and assembling them can be challenging, more so that they are also from other parts of the world.
We have grouped all participants into 20 groups in preparation for the first rehearsal,date and venue will be released later for the security of the participating stars and to avoid gate crashing of uninvited people.
Scripts will also be made available to you on arrival at the venue & the movie casting would come to an end before the end of November, but the starting date is yet to be announced.
Because you have been selected from Canada you are automatically the leader of your group which consist of 10 people and their responsibilities will be yours. Please note this is a very important group because we have the make up artistes in your group .You are responsible for your group.
We have to group everyone because we have over 300 people for different scenes so it is very difficult taking care of everyone's needs without grouping.
The leader of every group  is paid for all the expenses and motivation fee for the group to avoid financial hitches and unnecessary setbacks.
Salary & Wages:
Upon acceptance of offer, the payment process is divided into three phases
- Phase 1 payment:  Motivation Fee
The participant will be paid motivation fee of 200 cad.
- Phase 2 payments:
Initial hotel and accommodation fee of 300 dollars
- Phase 3 final payments:
This is the artiste actual fee Per scene :  150 cad
You will be appearing in fifteen scenes in the entire episode therefore:
If per scene is 150cad
150cad x 15 scenes = 2,250 ca dollars.
You will be paid the total sum of 2,250 CAD at the end of the production.

I got a voicemail from this number. The guy said his name is Eric Daven and he is a creative director. He had heavy accent like Indian or arabic... so weird.

Called them back and a guy asked about 300$ for audition expenses!!!!!!!!! Sure!!!!! What a BS!!!!!

I got a call from that number too on october 21 of this year from a dude name Neil Smith and I end up looking up him on google he real but there no created director under that name. Crazy scam artists taking advantages of us.

A guy named Robinson just called me and kept calling me "Anna". I don't know if it was his heavy accent screwing up my name or what, but he spelt it correctly.  He said he looked at my modeling info and wanted me for a movie and some modeling.  He then gave me his phone number and his address, which is on the North side of Las Vegas (for those of you who don't know what that means: it's Scumville), and expects me to drive down there to meet up with him.  Thinking that this was a scam, I looked up the phone number and found this site.  Thank you for giving me this helpful info, it saved my @$$! Watch out for the phone number 866-611-8672 EX. 105, that's the guy who tried to scam me.

I got a call from a Kristina with an accent saying she was from explore talent which is a sight I check out but I have had an account with them for a year now and have never had a call from them asking for money. They only want a CC so I didn't do anything with them. Not sure if it was real or not though

yeah he  said he will activate my account to do that i will need a one time payment fee,so when he said that i hang up the phone on he him i know it was a scam.
