   I got a phone call from these people on my cell phone. The said I got a phone call from a Jeffery Morgan from the UCF saying that I got a payday loan in 2010 for $400 with cash USA. He wanted 5,000 dollars or 1,808.00 to settle the matter. He asked me to fax him a letter and my ID. I made the mistake of doing so. I never asked for one from this company or any others. this was very scary for me. He threatened me with jail time. I looked up the number for the Cash USA place and they said they had no record of me getting a loan and he told me a scam. I was relieved and mad. But I had to call my bank and cancel the card because they had it and now I am just relieved. I am just wanting to worn others about this before they make the mistake I did and that is give them any more information. Here is the letter that he wanted me to send.

Attention Jeffery Morgan,


I Spring Needham, from the state of Arizona, will pay back this loan by paying $508.00 on Monday the 28th of March 2011. The balance would be discussed with Jeffery Morgan after the first payment.

Good to know. I've done all that too. They managed to drain my daughter's bank account and she never even gave them any numbers! If you want to hear more, I'll be happy to oblige.

the same thing happened to me...the guy that called his name is Justin Jones, he had me so scared that i paid what he said i owed...i know it was stupid of me but he had me convinced...he called again 2 weeks later and now said i owed 3000 dollars...i looked up the phone number and saw it was a scam...i looked on my bank statement and it said the money i sent went to a company name Heal Comfort and they are in Newington, Conneticut...i have called the ftc and filed a complaint...now i'm wondering if i'll be able to recoup that money or if i just need to eat it

Guys this is a scam and we need to stop this people!!!!! This people called me on behalf of a law firm threaten me to file a law suit for theft and fraud! They are in the FBI black list! I received the same call all week.. I did get a loan from a payday loan company... I wonder if their systems got hacked.... anyone else did this to receive these calls

Contact your bank.  Get them to not honor the payments.  Close that account and open a new one with a different number.

I just got the same type of call saying that i owe them 500.00 and i never got the money from them because i changed my mind.  All they said was that there was going to be a warrant for my arrest.  When i called them several times all i got was hung up on the only different was the phone and that number is 760-269-4358 out of victorville ca.  They claimed they where some Federal Dept.  never gave a persons name or their badge number this is nothing but a bunch of B.S all they want is money they don't have. We need to stick together and stop them
