No one for the company has ever been engaged in promoting a voting for Obama. I know someone who works for the company and they simply and only market an automatic trading program.

    Tarder,
You keep making these ominous suggestions.... Did the company do something to you directly which has caused this anger?  I have checked the company out with the BBB as well as the Secretary of State and the DOJ and they have been in business for over 18 years. The person that I originally spoke to, took me to those government sites (independent of their own web site). Why would a scam company bother to take you to a government site.  Maybe it is just me, but I am kind of confused as to who started this blog in the first place.
What started as a blog to look-up unlisted phone numbers seems to have become a whole other thing.

Almost makes you wonder if an ex-employee decided to get revenge for whatever wrong they think was dealt to them.

    Shadow Trader,
Never worked for the people or ever met them in person at all. The reason they dont have complaints with the BBB is because they probably settle with people at the last minute to keep their reputation. The DOJ is the Department of Justice. They have absolutely no power or authority of any kind over this company. Their are other complaints with the government and financial authorities, however these organizations will tell you they do not have a case against them until they file charges against them. This is because they have to be proved in court. This company does not have a valid address. Maybe it is a possibility that you are an employee of this company.

You know I have read all these complaints and accusations regarding Global Trading Academy. I don't find any substance to what I am reading. Are you all interested in the system or do you just have too much time on your hands. I have also been presented by Global Trading and they did not pressure me and took me to more than just the BBB. I checked on my own and found no complaints through the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as well as the Attorney General's office. I even checked them out on ripoffreports.com. They are web based. It would make sense there is no walk in address available. So you people confuse me. A smart investor goes by facts and supported information. Not by hearsay and apparently to people whom have no idea. I usually don't get involved in this blogging stuff but I can't believe the utter ignorance I am reading here. No offense to those of you with legitimate concerns, but to you people that obviously haven't done the proper due diligence, GET A CLUE!

Whom ever is trying to bad mouth TIM COOK and his dealings, obviously must be a competitor or a highly misinformed individual. I believe there are laws against information against someone that just isn't true. I know Tim Cook personally. I speak to him regularly. He has not one part ownership in this less than ethical business. You can check through the BBB whom owns Luxman/CTI/Cooper trading. What ever they call themselves. Though similar in approach. I am not a Luxman client, but I know of their reputation and it does not compare to Global Trading Academy(which Tim Cook is owner). I mean Global Trading has been in business since 1992(over 18 yrs.) and Luxman in business I believe no more than 7 years in business.  Global Trading has 1 complaint in 18 years and Luxman has over 72 complaints in 7 years. You do the math. Whom is copying whom. So get your facts straight Mr. Ananamouse1. I would be careful when you make an accusation like you have made here for if your name could be found, I believe you could be sued for slander or defirmation of character. So get your facts straight. My question to you is "Are you a competitor of Global Trading Academy?" Obviously you are trying to sabotage a highly reputable company.

This will be my first and last post. I will not respond to any requests for additional information so don't ask. I am not a client of Global Trading Academy, but I have known Mr. Cook for over 20 years, and over the years have taught many people how to trade more effectively. I believe that no matter what anyone says, myself included, there will always be the fearful skeptics. Too affraid to actually take any risk themselves, but quick to form an opinion. If you want the truth, find it yourself. Don't rely on someone else's opinion, they may not have enough information to be of any value to you. As I read through the posting here, one thing is clear. You can't please everyone, but you shouldn't be so quick to judge that which you know nothing about. Mindless speculation, accusations, opinions, and suggestions, from people who can't even use their real names. I believe this blog was originally intended to simply identify a company name with a specific toll free number. Unfortunately, it has morphed into something else.
I challenge anyone reading this to go back, review the posts, go to the links that Anonamouse1, AKA David Davis(identified as a former employee of Global Trading Academy) has so graciously provided. Read all of the complaints, non of which mention Global Trading Academy or Mr. Cook, and you will find that the companies that he is accused of owning have numerous complaints from people who have actually purchased trading systems that have failed. Compare that to Global Trading Academy's 18+ year track record and the "due-dilligence" that I know Mr. Cook's staff provides to potential clients.
I know for a fact that all of those companies are one in the same and separate of Global Trading Academy. I know who owns and runs those companies, that they owe millions in unpaid refunds and restitution and I know for a fact that Mr. Cook is solely the owner of Global Trading Academy.

The Secretary of State and the DOJ? lolololololololol--- (Hillary and Bill got away with their madoff scheme)now theres a couple of  earlier stated "Ominous"---anybody that would bank their money on Hillary and Holder deserve what they get---you may as well just make your "certified checks" out to the Bilderberg group and pray they pardon you as infidels when the takover comes--I just dropped in to give you another number for Global its 760-673-7266. I got a call from that number around noon here EST. In my "investigation" of this I landed here and just about (except for the banter) the same "complaints" were on this number. Over the years (someone mentioned them earlier) I have made "killings on Mc Donalds stock---as a matter of fact less than a year after the 1988 diaster they split--they split 2 or 3 times earlier than that and at 75.00 they may have no choice but to split again soon. I am no "broker" or anything else but I did make beau coup bucks over the years on them (and they NEVER had to call people and ask about your liquid or anything else. lololol----Hillary and Holder lolololololololololol

Search the number 760-673-7266 too. It is a high risk trading system. See how to fake a good BBB rating below.

In terms of the no call list, I don't think he had permission to call. I may let him slide. It is up to the telemarketer to check the "do not call" list. The software to check is free or almost free.  And you cannot call any cell phones and don't have to put your cell phone on the do not call list. No telemarketer can call a personal cell phone without permission. You can call a business home or cell phone if listed as a business. So if you sell Avon don't list you cell phone, get a magic jack if you don't want calls.

You should ask any telemarketer how and where he got permission to call you. I have done insurance sales and I buy leads from people that have put their information for a quote. Then I have the okay to call them for 90 days and I know what company I bought the lead from. So I can call the lead company and tell them to remove you from their list. Get the name of the company that they got your name (lead) from and call them and asked to be remove from the list.
If anyone says, they don't know where they got your name. They are lying or incompetent, so report them as we don't need lying incompetent people telemarketing. (or jerks)

I don't report small local businessmen like A/C or termite guy, but some guy from far away, report them to the "do not call" gov site. Local businesses support your schools and give you discounts sometimes. So are just trying to pay their mortgage so give them a break. Also, local people are less likely to rip you off. Well maybe except a few, mostly contractors.

    What they sell...
They have a mechanical (computer) futures trading system. I did not get all the information.  He asks what I need to trust the company. He showed me BBB and Calif. state something that said the company is 18 year old. (so what, see note below how to fake a old business with a good BBB rating) I said I want to know the owner(s) name. He did not answer, but waiting to speak to him again.

Note: there are lots of old companies in the county registry. So, it is easy to buy an old company name and use it with good BBB rating. So just because a company has been around for a long time does not mean a thing. And any good company should have references.

    Mechanical (computer trading systems)

Here is what I know about mechanical (computer) future trading systems as I have done several in the past.

They work for a time; months sometimes years then stop working (or lose money.) It is best to run several at one time as one maybe making money and one maybe losing money. You pay for the systems on a monthly basis or $50 to $100 per contract.  The reason you pay monthly is they will stop working at some point. So after 4-6 months of not working you cut them and look to add another.  There are companies like "Futures Truth Magazine" that good future system developers use to independently test their systems. Future Truth will not give up the system.  Most of the best systems get bought or sold to high risk million dollar accounts. They may start letting us little guys in for a while, but if they get a good track record. The big boys move in and it is a lot easier to sell to 25 1-million dollar accounts then 500 small time $50,000 ones.

This is a high risk form of trading and you can make a lot or lose a lot quickly.  For example, you may start with 50K go up to 100K in 6-9 months, then drop 20K in 2 months.  And that is with a good system. With a bad system you can quickly lose all you money or you can be unlock and get a good system but on the 20K downward cycle. Most people in my stock groups I go to don't use them.

Most of you are better to look at joining a local stock trading group or buying Investor’s business daily (newspaper) and using the can-slim system.  Vector-vest is a computer trading software that copies some of the can-slim system. Also, look out for very expensive stock trading education, just buy a book like Toni Turners "beginers guide to short term trading" is one good one. Join a local stock group. If you look for trading education, look for ones with live internet groups without large up front cost.

Google: Futures truth magazine, foremost trading, tradethink, AttainCapital for future trading systems.
Call or email Future truth magazine is you are interested. They may hook you up with some good people.
