These crooks called me and wanted my info for visa/mastercard for vouchers to walmart gas in 100.00 amount. I didn't bite and was able to get him to give me his name (Jeff Wilson), an I.D.(#NT50082),an adress(369 Orangewood Ln.#304, Boca Raton, Fl., 33543), a website(www.supersavingstoday.com), and of course 1-866-682-7658. These idiots are either Indian or Pakistanian judging from there lingo. There ain't no way they are going to call back here after I told him I was going to check out the info and to call me back in 15 minuites. What a joke! I feel sorry for anyone who gives them their info, but also you should really know better. The call came in on 4/01/09 at 6:50 pm central.

I just got a call from Super Savings Today at that same phone number 1-685-412-5468.  Same deal...free gas card, free 3 night stay at over 100 locations for my whole family, and discounts at stores i shop at...all free for a trial period.  Asked for a website...he gave it to me  supersavingstoday.com  His name was Steven Parkes Id number ICT65...wanted to make sure I had all his information.  Sounded too good to be true, so I asked him what the catch was,  "nothing madam" no catch, no charges.  I told him I needed to check it out first.  I figured he wouldnt call back, but after reading this site, I am guessing he will be calling back tomorrow.  I  will forward this info to the attorney generals office in my state.  I can see how in this economy people would be willing to try to get something for  just $4.95 and no additional obligation.

Same thing with me today... $100 gas voucher. For being a well paying respected Visa card member. (it is a debit card, there are no payments!) They "already had my credit card #" and wanted me to verify the number so that they could send it out.  I gave them the wrong expiration date and they didn't even blink at it. Then they wanted the 'first 4 digits of the card'... then they wanted to verify the

... David calling me back now! ... 685-412-5468.  They need to give me the notification ID ... and ... once again, they want me to verify my credit card #.... had to let good ol' David down easy, HAVE VISA CALL ME! ... not that I would even let Visa verify this information over the phone.

I just had the same call.  They claimed to be from Orangewood Benefits and because I was a good customer of Walmart, Target, and/or Costco (That should cover the entire population of the United States), I was being selected to recieve a three day/two night stay anywhere in the United States along with a $100 dollar gas card, all for shipping and handling of $4.95.  I led him along but told him I only did transactions in cash.  He kept asking me, and even said I could use an old card and let him try or even borrow a card from a neighbor or family member if I didn't have one of my own.  I finally got tired of him repeating himself and hung up.

    Called in Alabama
I just received a call from Super Savings Today with the same deal and $4.95 shipping charge.  I asked how he got my number and he said from previous merchants I used.  I told him my number DOES NOT APPEAR on any of my purchases and I wanted a number and website to call to verify this.  He would not give me a number but pointed me to SuperSavingsToday.com. This man would not let up!  He even said he would call back in 30 mins and I had to take advantage of the deal today.  I just hung up on him! If they try to rush you to buy or to give your credit card info, IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!  By the way, this one did not give me his name...

Someone called my phone at 6:57 p.m. and said they were calling from Orangewood benefits, Clearwater, florida. He said his name was Steve and if i shop at Walmart, Target he had the last four digits of my credit card number on file and i am going to get $100.oo free for gas plus a 2 night stay as a resort. I ask him how did he get my card number and he said i am not to worry about that because my card number is safe. He told me that if i pay $4.95 for shipping and handling i would get the $100.00 gift card for gas. I told him that i was not interested and he said that i am not to worry because the company would not want their company name to go bad because of $4.95. I told him if they can give me $100.00 why not give me $4.95 more. He said I have to pay the shipping and handling. I said well you can take the $4.95 from the $100.00 and send me only $95.00 ...laugh. He was determine so i humg up the phone. He called back and said i have to finish the transaction and if i dont he would take the money from my card number.....remember he already said that he did not have the number for my card. I hung up again. He called back and called me a [***] and said my english was bad. I told him that his accent sound like someone from a arabian tribe and his English was worse than mine and i hung up the phone. He called me back and i told him not to call back. He kept on calling until i got fed up and answer. He said i was a [***] and he would [***] me up. I hung up the phone and he continuous call and i never answer. He left a voicemail saying that i am a [***] [***] and he was going to charge my card $500.00. He said I must check  my card right now and i will see that he took out the $500.00. I haven't got a credit card right now so i dont know which card he is going to charge. Sometimes i use my children card and my name is not on it. If he charge my daughter or son card he is going to be in big trouble. STEVE or whatever name you have. WE WILL FIND YOU. You wont be a Bill laden YOU will be a Saddam Hussein. STEVE BE CAREFUL WHO YOU MAKE JESTERS TO.....nobody have money to waste because time is hard......I have your voicemail and that's all i want.

Said they got my name/number because I shopped at Walmart and that I won a $100 gas card and a 3 day vacation to anywhere in US - just needed to give them my credit card number to pay for $4.95 shipping.  Funny that some company was supposedly shelling out hundreds of dollars for me to have a gas card and trip, but they can't pay the five bucks to ship it??  That alone tells you something.  It was an Indian woman named Charlotte Jones.  I asked if I could mail a payment, or pay some other way - nope, credit card only.  Finally, I told her I knew it was a scam, to lose my number, and I hung up.  She immediately called back and I reiterated to never call me again and hung up.  One more time, then I think she finally got the hint. Probably will still get another call tomorrow, and the next day...

fraud and thevies of your money: replies to Crystal
On Apr 18 at 8:14 pm I received a call from ID Caller 685-412-5468 Company Name was Super Savings Today and the man said that his name is Troy Rosario and he is the supervisor of this company. And I told them how I am related to this call? He said that I was chosen randomly by the places that I do shop and also gasolin stations and they send my information to Super Savings Today. So I was the one of the lucky customer to get a free gasolin voucher for 100$ and they got my two different information from my credit cards and they told me they are going charge me only $4.95 about an hour later I just explored on the internet about this company and I realized that it was same fraud that it happened to many people here also they gave me customer phone number 18666843931. I hope they will be arrested soon.

This is a callback scam that is very dangerous. If you look closely, the website has no accreditations on the footer and does not start with "https" meaning it is not secured. The phone number they are calling from is Western Samoa. Although they provide a free callback number, they try to get you scamming you into providing personal information. Do not send or reveal anything to them! These people are not located in Florida and are not legitimate.

They claimed that I had won several gas coupons and that they would be mailing them to me once they received a 12$ shipping and handling fee, and would I please just provide my address. I pointed out that if they were located in Florida, several coupons shouldn’t cost more than a 49 cent stamp.

Remember, it is illegal to force a winner to pay in advance to recieve their prize. They only money they may request is taxes and that can be deducted from the amount. Any time you get a call like this, ask for the callback number and immediately contact your phone company/the legit company they claim to partner with. DO NOT call them back as it may end up being a very costly international call. Most phone companies have a fraud department that is there to protect and educate you further.
