i received the same  call from super saving .we did not gave them cradit card detail but they took our name address and birth date. so in ur case they took money out from ur account  without getting ur  card or account number?. pls reply me so  i can take step ahead. thanks for ur opinion here.

Yeh...I got the call today...saying that I will receive $100 Gas Card for that I will be charged 4.95... and i end up in giving my card details.
Then I was searching the Information on internet about SuperSavingToday Scam...I came accross this site....Thanks a lot for the information guys.

Got the same phone call (this makes 3 times already) this morning.  She had the last 4 digits of my cc#.  I told her to take me off the list and hung up.  How can we get this from happening and will they be able to use my cc if they have the last 4 digits?

I just received a call from orangewood benefits, they almost had me because I really need a vacation they wanna charge you 4.95 for "shipping and handling " for a package all they need is your card number. In these times dont mess with my money I work too damn hard, in case they already had my account number I called my company and asked for a new number and card I suggest everyone who has been contacted do the same!!!!!!

The same thing just happened to me. I was told that I would get $300 in gas vouchers and I would just have to pay the $4.95 for shipping. It just didn't sound right to me especially when he asked to verify my credit card number. He already had my information to several of my cards. I asked why he needed my info if this was a prize. That doesn't make much sense, but I ended up verifing my info. I called my credit card company and these people had already charged my card $1.95. There is no telling what else they would have charged my card. I had to cancel the card and get a new one. These people are scammers and the public should be aware. Do not trust these people. Oh, by the way, the man's name was Mike Smith.

I wish our government would spend more on law enforcement instead of $330,000 on photo-ops for the president's plane.  It's bugs me deeply that this scam is still ongoing after about 2 months.

They called me (and I subsequently complained to donotcall.gov since I'm on the list).  It's unbelievable that they're still around, as dumb as they are.  I could come up with much better and convincing scam stories.

Anyway, I led them on for quite some time in order to get their business name and phone number, and also to try out my new phone.  Also, to people who wish to waste my time and tell me lies, I sometimes enjoy returning the favor.

Yes, they asked for my credit card number.  Warmed up to it slowly - it was kind of funny.  First they needed the expiration date because they wanted to put that date on my free gas card.  (Why??)

I gave them 3 bogus credit card numbers - told them all kinds of junk, but it was clear that they didn't care who's card I gave them.  You'd have thought they'd catch on after I'd given them numbers containing sequences like 1234567890 and 9876543210, but they didn't - unbelievably stupid people.

Finally, I made one up (more randomized) that passed their number checking system, and they passed me to a verification system w/ prompts for me to verify my information.  I put the guy through the first several questions of that system several times, each time coming up with a question in the middle or stalling so he'd have to start all over again - hillarious - he never really caught on till I outright told him two or three times that I was just kidding and giving him bogus numbers to waste his time.

And do you think he hangs up then?  No!  Now he threatens to charge the third supposed card number and if it goes through to direct any fraud investigation in my direction under the premise that he supposedly has recorded proof that I ordered something.  All this in an effort to get me back into the same verification system to "cancel" what I supposedly ordered.

Unbelievable what I had to do to get hung up on.  They get an A+ for persistance, but an F for brains.  I guess I just have too much time on my hands, but I figure if the jerk is talking to me, he's not talking to someone more gullible.

So anyway, this long running scam is proof to me of a justice system that lacks the funding, power, ability, or willpower to see quick justice met out.  How hard can it be to bust somebody this dumb?  In a time of economic problems our government spends money it doesn't have on things it doesn't need while ignoring scams that are sending hard-earned US dollars to foreign scammers.  Doesn't make sense.

Caller could not be understood, nor her manger - they asked for credit card several times for a package vacation - I asked how they got my number and they said the phone company - NO wonder -
This is my second call from them in the past 6 months and probably not their only attempt - just the first that I answered.  I only answered because I was waiting on a call.

I got a call with no number on my cell phone and says he is calling from WAL MART and says I have been selected to get a vacation package with 3 nights and 2 days full free and a 100$ gas package. I asked him how I got my phone no he says he is from walmart and he got it when i shopped in walmart. He even has my address, Phone no and even my visa card no.
I asked him how he got it he says he got it from walmart when i shopped I dont know then he says hes from a company www.journeypath.com and has even given me his Emp Id# not original probably then I started shouting and then he hung up.

These people called us to and we declined their offer only to find out later charges were on the credit card to the tune of $150+ and not only Super Savings Today, but Orangewood Long Distance, and possibly another long distance company out of Florida. We turned them into the Federal Trade Commission, and the BBB and suggest that any one else that gets contacted by them to do the same! Also, if this continues it may be in everyone's best interest to find an attorney that will lead a class action suit agaisnt this company and we all get back the money they have ripped us off for. To turn them into the Federal Trade Commission, just Google it and go the complaint section and file away folks. They are out of Florida and going to other states to do their damage and the FTC is federal and has the jurisdiction to get them.

I got the call from this guy about 15 min ago with an Indian accent. He actually got my number from my fantastic yet gullable cousin who thought a may want a "free" vacation as well. He calle and gave me all the info first. Said he was with American Shopping Center 2421 Riverdale Rd New York, NY 24212. I asked for an email address and he gave me supersavingstoday.com. He then went on to ask for my address and I gave him my biz name and address which is just an unregistered fictious name. He then asked for my name and I gave him gave him the first name I go by and a different last name. I He asked for credit card info and I told him to send me some general info first and he said he couldn't. I then told him that I was busy and he called my bluff! I told him to call me next week and I'll talk to my cousin about it and he told me to just call her right now. He was very aggitated with me at this point so I just told him that I had to go and hung up on him. I hope he cannot use my info to get my financial info.

Talk about persistent! I got the "randomized" call at work, stupidly gave my credit card number but never "authorized it" through their'automated system"...ended up hanging up while I was googling and reading. "Sam" whose "ID employee code is 1023" called back ticked off not once, but EIGHT times. I thought I got through to him that I was not interested. Three days later, he CALLED ME AT HOME!  I never gave him phone number at home. Seems have to "authorize" to cancel...hmmmmm....cancelled credit card, bank aware of the "fraud alert". It is scary. And yes, before I got the card cancelled, they had already "memo'd $1.00" which bank tells hubby means withdrawal amount pending. My hubby smart man and made "Sam" talk a full 25 minutes.  He hasn't called back, yet.  Also, DO NOT CALL LIST doesn't appear to make any difference to them.

Just got a call today offering a $1000 visa gift card and a $250 gas card. They acted like I was an idiot for beinbg sceptical. They told me the same website and kept laughing at me when I would question them. I asked them to stop laughing at me, haven't they ever heard of identity theft. They said they already had all mytinfo they just needed to verify. I asked them wich of my 3 visa's did they get this information from. They said do you have one that expires before 2012. I said they all do. Another laugh from them. Then I asked if I could have a number to call them back. They laughed again and said they would giveme all that info after. I said I want to check you out first and then call back. Then he said I'm sorry we called this number by mistake. You will not be recieving any free gifts. I said O.K. thanks and hung up.  I feel bad for people that would be intimidated by them laughing and give in to trusting them.

they called me today! and at first i was kind of reluctant. and i had asked them several times to repeat themselves, same offer $100 gas card and 3 day 2 night vacation of my choice. being dumb....i gave my info, but not before i asked for the website and everything. i was out for the day so i didnt have a computer near me to check. so within 5 minutes of ending the call, i went home to check out this website, supersavingstoday.com had looked legit...but then i googled the phone number and found this! right afterwards, I called my credit card company to cancel and reported the fraud!!! luckily by this time, they only charged on my credit card a $1.00. But eitherway, told Chase everything and they wrote it all down and cancelled my card and is giving me a new one. NEVER EVERRRRRR going to pick up those kinds of calls or offers ever again. also, the do not call thing, didn't even block out that call, instead i luckily had a block app on my cell, so i used that instead to block off their numbers.

I got a call from a "Private" number.  They told me I was going to be receiving a $100 gas card and a 70% discount voucher in the mail.  All they wanted to do was verify my information.  Thanks to the military, I've moved around a bit and haven't lived at the address they had on "file" for five years.  I even have a different last name than what was on file, and since my name and address are changed on my cards, and have been for quite some time, I knew it was a scam.  I gave them a fake card number (for my shipping and handling fee of both $4.95 and $5.90, they can't even get their own story right) just to see if they would notice.  Nope.  Then I got to talk to the supervisor, Dennis Lee, employee number 40437, and an address, 2600 Lake Lucien Drive, Maitland, Florida 32751.  Thanks to Google maps, I found the address but amazingly, I could not find the company.  WEIRD!  The website he gave me, www.journeypath.com brings you to a page that is for an Evangelical church in Canada.

Stupid scam artists.

Got a call from someone telling me he was from Wal-Mart.  Said I had made an order online and that I had been one of 50 picked this month during "customer appreciation month."  He said I would be receiving a gift in the mail if I confirmed my address (he had it) and I did.  He then gave me the 866-682-7658 number as a customer service number and told me to call it when my gifts arrived to receive an additional $100 gas card and something else, I can't remember.  I became suspicious when he told me I'd have to pay $2.95 in shipping costs that would be billed to the credit card used online.  He wanted to transfer me to someone else to confirm the information, but I told him I didn't want it as I wasn't sure this wasn't fraud at which time he told me I had wasted his time and I was stupid.  I tried to call the number, but was just given the run around on the automated system.  I don't know if he actually had my card number (though he told me he did) he tried to confirm it with an incorrect expiration date.  I have canceled my cards just in case.  How annoying.  Why hasn't this guy been stopped already?

This same thing happened to me,,I was STUPID and gave them my CC # thinking I would get the gas vouchers,,wrong!! I never recived anything in the mail but they took $74.00 from my account,, I called them & supposedly I am getting arefund but we will see..

Okay now, I'm mad. Same people called me and they had my cc information address and all. They charged the 2.92 than 24.87 and now 48.87. I call the customer service and get someone named Kyle, he's going to assis me right, right the phone disconnect. I called right back, Kyle who answers the phone again is now Jesse. He said he canceled the account and is issueing me a refund, even gave me a confirmation number. Said it will take about 5 to 7 business days and for me to call back in two days to check the status... Let's see what happens here. Mind you they have on my account Dish Network and they are not even associated with this bogus company. I'll call tomorrow and see who Kyle is going to pretend to be...

they called my cell phone and offered $200 in free gas coupons for only $2.92 now i am stuck with over $100 in overdraft fees from my bank account and cannot get ahold of these people the lines have rang busy for the last hour!!!! the original call was on 06/10/09 and as of today have not recvd anything in the mail from them
