these people keep calling asking for someone who does not live here and i do not know. i called back to tell them this but they keep calling. and they are very rude about it.

If your getting calls and they're not for you just cooperate and verify the info as incorrect. If a collector isn't going to make money they don't want to call you anyways. Get it ?

Take responsibility for your agreement. Or let them know they have the wrong number. Collectors get lied to constantly. Of course they think your lying too.

This number called my house today at 1:26pm and asked for someone I've never heard of before.  I've had my number for over 8 years now.  The person said he was calling from his office and his name was Mr. Cruz.  He said he was trying to get back ahold of someone named Chad Tudor.  I thought I would check online to see if it was a scam before just calling them back to let them know they got the wrong number.  I do not think I will return their call.

Someone called my house this afternoon asking for my granddaugher that doesn't even live with me to call about something personal. Never heard of this number or name before.  How did this company get my phone number?

Really, just tell your family to pay there bills cause now you have creditors calling you. If you pay your bills on time like an American and not a squatter , then you should feel disrespected when everyone else takes the easy way out and files banko. Why should people like me get higher intrest rates cause the rest of the country is full of [***] heads living off plastic and have no intentions of paying it back?

Its collections moron. And they have ways of finding alot out about you. It may not be you debt or it may. But the only way to get the calls to stop is to pay it or tell them its not you. But if it is you they will find out.

For every moron saying that they call the collection agency without verifying info then hang up on them, you are trying to get them to break the law as they cannot divulge info (you know, why they're calling) without making sure they know who their speaking with.......

I like the people posting who are on the high horse, " I don't owe anyone anything ".  Same people who rack up tens of thousands on credit then find some trivial excuse not to pay.  If you use credit cards then don't pay back, your just a thief

Got a call and advised that there is a important matter that I need to call them regarding a reference number. They are calling a company cell phone that should not be called and they are calling a number that belonged to a person a few years ago. That person no longer works with this company and I am paid toooooo much to be their secretary. STOP CALLING.

Seriously - those of us who gets calls about our family having debt are losers?  That's just ridiculous.  I have kids I'm trying to put down and that's when they always choose to call my house.  Then they leave messages.  They have nothing to do with me, but I'm getting harassed.  Tell my family member to pay their bills?  (1) Why is that MY responsibility? (2) Like that's going to make them pay something they don't have the money to pay?  Get real - not everyone getting harrassed is guilty of something.

kayla from an unknown company called looking for someone who doesn't exist in my life. It's actually a combination of a password I use at work and my last name. kayla said this person used my name (first initial and last name as listed in the phone book)  as a reference. She wouldn't say what the phone call was about
