No, I don't. Like I said, I think they're just spamming FL cell phone #'s.

EPPI cards are issued by various states as a MC/debit card for child support...I "googled" EPPI card to get this info. They have a bulletin up on their site to make people aware that someone is sending bogus emails, texts and phone calls. Yes it is a scam. DO NOT RESPOND TO IT!!! I got a text message this afternoon from this number.

I live in Florida and just received the same text message but with my phone I have to hit download to see the message but I have not opened it. I'm glad I looked up the number. I haven't even used my debt card today last time was yesterday at Target and CVS.

I think they are scamming cell phones - I just got the text message a few minutes ago and I have not used my card at all since yesterday....

I received the same SMS message.  I don't have an eppicard and I had not used my debit card in days.  I don't think the use of any credit or debit cards is linked to this spam text message.

I'm wondering if it's related to having a PSN account?

I am a T-Mobile customer and got the eppicard message too.

    Obviously a scam.

    Ignore.

Or better yet, call repeatedly and give them tons of fake numbers. Maybe we can flood their database and inconvenience (annoy) them right back. =)

Got the same message as so many others moments ago. I have a t mobile and live in florida. Have not used my credit card since yesterday. Don't think it has anything to do with your credit card and possibly having a t mobile phone.

"You have received a new EPPICard (Florida) banking alert.  CaLL now free: 1-1866-719-3878 and follow instructions to resolve this alert."

I did not call them.  I do not have any accounts with a bank in Florida anymore.  Spam.
