- JohnThey called and ask for a specific person and will not advise "who" gave them my private cell phone number. They also won't provide a last name or an extension number. I'll try the return call number above and advise them that permission provided to a vendor to call your cell phone is NOT transferable to anyone else, ie them.

- Lynn| 6 repliesI've rec'd calls from 866-729-5682, which seems to be 1st Source Advantage. I have also received correspondence from them trying to collect on something I have already made a payment arrangement with United Recovery Systems and have made on-time payments to. Isn't trying to collect double on something illegal? I'm not stupid by any means and I know this isn't right. I'm also not a deadbeat. I had perfect credit until a job loss and obtaining a new job with a lot less pay. Now all hell is breaking loose!

- M. SanchezI get calls for several people with a first name starting in "M" and last name sanchez. My listing is "M Sanchez" so they think it's okay to call for Mary, Maxine, Moses, Manuel ... Sanchez etc... hoping they get the right person. So frustrating. Most of the time they are okay and say they will remove the number from their system...sometimes they're very rude.

- Debbie replies to Lynn| 4 repliesI am so with u on this..I also get calls from them..I had a 750 credit score before I lost a job in October... It's probably 400 now .I counted the calls from this number and there were 14 calls in one day ..I use to talk to them on a regular basis but told them not to put me on auto call but they will not stop..I don't even want to answer my phone any more!!!
- Larry| 1 replyFor every one whose cell phone they are calling, download the app " call control" and black list them. It will block their calls. I purchased the "premium call control" and have about 25 numbers black listed. It does work.

- KarenReceived a call for my adult son from this number on my business cell phone. She would not give any information as to the reason of the call. When I asked to take a message for him to return their call, the woman stated she could not give out that information for security reasons. Did not give her any information for security reasons, either!!!

- kelthey call all hours, and sometimes minutes apart. I own nothing to anyone, I'm never late on any payment. No credit card debt, they are paid off every month. I wish I had a home number for them so I could harass them.
- LisaThey're calling my cell #, looking for my friend who has a student loan due, but has made arrangements with Sallie Mae... The first time they called they left a voicemail with a robot system asking for my friend, calling from First Source Advantage in attempts to collect a debt, that I can pay at fsapay.com, and if I wasn't her to hold to speak with a representative -- which of course I couldn't do because it was a voicemail. I have this number blocked through the "Mr Number" app, but now they're calling every day. They're a 3rd party debt collector, that may purchase old/bad debt, not reputable I'd assume, and BEWARE; Their website www.fsapay.com is an unsafe website, do not go fiddling around on their website!

- shirleyI have my phone listed on no call and these people hound me everyday. I have good credit and no use for them. please tell me what to do. I am about to disconnect my phone.
- SueReceived a call from this number asking for someone who had my son's 1st name & my last name. Advised them that person does not exist & told them they were probably trying to reach my son. They refused to leave a message or the name of the company they were calling from & tried to get a cell number for him. I refuse to give out cell numbers (or any other info) to people who will not tell you who the are! If it is legitimate they do not have to hide who they are.
- Sand FranI received a phone call from this number 1-866-729-5682. The man said he was from the IRS and I owed money from the last five years. I said, "You are a fake!" He stated his name was Mark Lopez, Badge #20109 and I owed close to $4,000.00 and how was I going to pay it? I said, "I owe you nothing." I had my taxes done by an accountant. Then he threatened me by saying that the cops were going to come to my house and arrest me in the next ten minutes! Intimidation doesn't work with me. I hung up!

- JMReceived several calls from this First source advantage. They are calling an leaving messages on my cell phone. This morning they called me at my work!!! They won't tell me what it is about until I give them a bunch of personal information. I told them to mail me something and I will call them at this point and talk to them. I beleive it is against the law for them to be calling at your employment.
