Called and left an automated message from a progressive debt collector, called again later with the same message

robocall saying that I am in line.

Are they even real or just a scammer to cheat $?

I don't pick up and they don't leave a message.

Left a VM last week, just got around to looking at old voice mails and found a nasty note like everyone else got. I had paid Sharp, although after fighting over a stupid medical procedure that medicare did not cover and it was on the last day because I am a jerk like that. When I called them back I gave my name and phone number and told them if it was the $190.03 bill, then it was paid and I have the confirmation number. Then they wanted my address and cc number and told me that they could not talk to me without that info - fat farking chance that is going to happen. Told them to recheck with Sharp, don't call again as they are blocked, I am moving in 3 weeks anyway and not going to do a forwarding address.

Calked saying they were from a regional hospital and wanted to confirm my birthday. They did have the correct month &  day - weird. I wouldn't give him any information and they hung up on me.
