I just got a call from this number as to my surprise the number was NOT in Call Control. I added it. For those that have Androids I highly recommned Call Control as it has a master database of unwanted numbers that you can block. I guess this must be a recent number that FCS is using.

Scambags. I have new number. I am not who they want. Will not stop calling.

These people are trying to collect a debt that is OVER 4 years old.  Tell them it looks like they are trying to collect something that is not there.  OR>>>>>>> call them @ 866-779-8954 and ask for Jessica.  If they get the tables turned on then with a lot of crank calls, they might not be so fast to pester you.

Fraud. Franklin Collection Services. I receive calls and mail from them and other collection services regarding this same issue.
Each company sends a different amount due. I am reluctant to pay since AT&T frauded me on accepting DSL upgrades free for a month and if I didn't like the speed just call and cancel. I cancelled. I owe AT&T $84 total. I'll pay them their money I owe but when I get different amounts each month or so I am waiting for them to bring the matter to court and counter-sue them. I have the bills of different amounts. Anywhere from $84 to $350 dollars. Franklin Collection Services is complicit and acting in concert with AT&T. AT&T used trickery and fraud to sell me a service I did not receive at the DSL speed I was quoted. I'll just sit back and wait for the Complaint to come.

Calls come almost everyday on my cell. They ask for a certain person in Spanish and then say if you are not that person hang up. WHICH I HAVE DONE FOR MONTHS!!  I did register today with the Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call Registry

Like Carl above I got screwed by AT&T and refused to pay $300 in overage fees they charged on my home DSL line that was supposed to be unlimited.  They said they alerted me via email that they were switching me to a metered Internet plan instead of the unlimited plan I had had for 10 years.  The email address they had for me was an old Bellsouth.net email address I had never used before, so obviously I never received the notice.

To make matters worse, they actually offered to cancel my overage fees IF, and only IF, I switched to the more expensive UVerse bundle with TV/phone and Internet.  I canceled my 10-year service with AT&T on the spot and switched to Charter - happy camper ever since.  I refuse to pay the overage fees on principle.  I am now spreading the word that AT&T is not a good company with which to deal.  I have easily cost them thousands of dollars in lost business already.  They really need to give a grace month or something the first time people go over after being baited and switched like this.

AT&T sucks - stay away from them at all costs!

They call at least once a day now and never leave a message.

I called it back from another phone and someone answered as Franklin Collections.

I have not gotten anything from them in the mail nor have they left a message so I assume this is for an invalid debt! Or for someone else.

I get a call from this number every single day.  Sometimes early in the morning, sometimes late in the evening.  I never answer now because it is a debt collector.  If I answer I get a recording for me to hold on for  very important information.  Then If I hold on someone comes and demands to speak to a certain person but will not leave a message or tell me what they want with the person.  When I call the number back I get a recording asking am I calling because I got a call concerning a debt owed to a company...

I get calls everyday from this number 866-779-8954.  It's true that this company was collecting a debt for AT&T.  AT&T is the worse company to deal with.  They tried to charge me $200. for services that were supposed to be on a special  rate of $19. a month for internet for a year.  They'll never get it!

Caller was recording asking for 'Sean Reid' - "if you are Sean Reid press "1", if you are not Sean Reid, hang up immediately"  Male voice, sounded like an [***]- no please or thank you, just a rude oaf type. Who do I report this too again?  :p

I am pretty young and they call me 3 times a day, and I really want them to stop.

I receive several calls and most are blank calls, don't know who these people are,
I am also seeking legal representation to deal with debt collectors. there are lawyers who sue unethical debt collectors who are breaking the law...i dont mind paying the debt if i have the money, and these [***] dont get it. there are apps to record phone calls, make sure you do not abuse them and record the conversation and tell them they are being recorded.

Automated service called me and I made the mistake of confirming who I am.  It redirected me to a line where I was put on hold for at least 60 seconds, and then "Tracy" proceeded to tell me that She was from Franklin Collection and was contacting me about a debt from someone that I had already paid off.  She refused to let me say anything that didn't sound like I was going to pay.  She was very beligerent and talked over me.  She refused to allow me to explain that I needed proof of who she was because the one I owed had my forwarding address and she kept quoting the address that was taken from the SC IRS when it was hacked.  I had to hang up to keep from using inappropriate words.

My cell number has NEVER been issued to anyone else. The person who answers has my number linked to a Steve Craig. I have been told them several times who I am and that I don't know a Steve Craig. I have been told they will remove my number but it doesn't matter. Every few months I get a call for Steve. I recommend plastering the number at every truck stop promising free phone sex. Equal harassment under the law. Good Luck.
