These people are harrassing me with phone calls, threats of legal action.  Help, I do not owe any unpaid debts.  They called again today and left a threating phone call.  I'm tired of this!!!

Send them a certified letter with return receipt requested demanding they validate the debt or stop calling. This is your right under the FDCPA and they have five days to respond. If they continue calling or take legal action without first proving IN writing you owe the debt, you can sue them.

To Nunna Business, yes this is what they do and they are very rude. You ask for spoof and they say they mailed it once and will not mail again. You say you never received it they say that you are lying about it and for you just to go ahead and make payment arrangements now.

I just got a call from them today where they pretended to be an arbitrator and wanted a "recorded statement." This was for an old account that my ex-husband illegally took out in my name and I have repeatedly requested proof that it was my account.  They won't send me proof my account. What BS.

This debt collection company has been harrassing me with phone calls and lately left a  voice mail with  threats of legal action.  I asked my buddy at work and he suggested  me to ignore them, my credit history is fine it shows no unpaid debts,,,so clue what this people is talking about,,,  I'm tired of their crap,  once answered them and the guy i talked to went nuts cuz i didn't give him any personal info... i just kept asking who you want to talk to? and he even asked if i worked for the FBI or CIA that my name can't be release i told him that was none of his business he just  hung up,,, no piece of mail ever received stating that i have a debt with someone,,, should i switch my cell no?    GET A JOB!!!!, I THINK THIS COMPANY TRY TO INTIMIDATE   YOU UNTIL YOU BREAK AND GIVE THEM SOME........

I have received two messages on my cell phone from these people.  On the first call I received they stated that I was going to be fired from my employment and they were from the government and wanted to speak with me.  I have no idea what these people are talking about.  I just received another call from them and a lady left a message saying that they were trying to help me and to call back because they were getting ready to file suit against me.  They used a Dallas phone number but left the number of 866-795-6989 for a call back number.  Who are these people?

I keep getting calls from these ppl! So annoying! They dont even let it go to voicemail. They call for a few rings, hang up call back for a few rings over and over again! The voicemail they leave skips doesnt say any information about you! So how do you know its the right phone number and they are actually calling for you!
Does anyone how to get them to stop calling?!

As i read all these messages on here you think it is a scam, or there harrassing you there really not!  This is how ledge it they really are!!!! i was served for something they had called me on many times, the balance was only $213.18 next thing i know i'm in court. The $213.18 turned into $2785.45 that i am currently getting garnished for. I make 12 dollars an hour and bring home 480 a week, now 30% of this goes right to them $144. so when they call i would disregard what these other professional debtors say and give them the time of day cause there for REAL

I have a similar story to share with Mr. Mercado. I was also served by this company and I paid one lump sum to get rid of it.. The balance was 356.97 and I ended up paying around 3300 with my lawyer and fees. Don't ruin your chance to take care of this with them while you can!!!!

Looks like the reposessed you caps lock key. Or maybe it fell on the boiler room floor while you were trying to extort money on the phone.

They have been calling my fiances parenthouse and his dads work... we asked them to send mail which we never received to verify the debt. They called again this mirning and I called they told me they can't send mail to the house but they can send it via email. We never received an email either. I called the local police department to make a report. They are scam artists. Do not pay them or give tgem any confidential info abourt yourself. Do your research on these companies before hand. You never know and people can find out anything about you nowadays. Be safe... keep yoyr identity yours...

When crooks start intruding innocent people's lives, the crooks deserve to get their scam made public but then rats will remain rats and do their dirty work in the dark trying to disguise their crap one way or the other. Stupid rats trying to become Lions behind a phone/computer.

I understand what you are saying--but the information I have used from this website has never failed to work for me or other members of my family who have been bothered by unruly debt collectors. They have either responded (as they should)--or slunk off into the sunset.

They are collecting on payday loans and do not have the ability to serve you papers. My guess is the posts by Kenneth Mercado & LARRY SZANYI are this Jennifer Westfield or some other cronie from Legacy. Trying to make everyone think they can take you to court. Even if the debt is real, the scare & intimidation tactics they use are breaking the law.
