recall notice for Jeep Liberty

calls a lot and NEVER leaves a message................   grow some and leave a message.........  A legitimate business would leave a MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is Jeep calling about the recall on the liberty. First call nobody spoke, then they called again and left message. We haven't had the recall work done (install trailer hitch because liberty has rear end collision gas tank issue) so it was a legitimate call wanting us to take it in for the work. If you call the number back it is Jeep, verified by me.

It is Chrysler....for Libery Jeep recall regarding fuel issue and yes they will fix that and add a hitch to the back for reinforcment

Yep Jeep Liberty recall regarding the fuel leak issue if in a rear end collision.  This is not a scam. They are calling if you haven't had the work done. (We got a paper notice a while ago, haven't done the work and vehicle is parked) I think the reason they aren't just leaving messages is that they are legally obligated to make sure they contact a human and even though it's taped someone may be listening in and checking off a box somewhere to see if a person answered.  Don't really know if that's true...just  a guess.

Called my cell phone at 3 PM I did not answer it  left msg about a Jeep Liberty recall I don't own a jeep never have so why they are calling makes me thing its some kind of scam

1-866-814-1480 is not a valid number.  I don't have a Jeep and if I did they wouldn't have my cell number.  Most likely the caller may have 'spoofed' caller ID and when you call they state they're with Jeep.  If that's the case why isn't the number coming up showing it belongs to Jeep when you search the internet.  My cell phone has the ability to block these calls so they won't be calling me again.

If it is jeep about recall I have already had mine fixed so they were notified makes me think it isn't about a recall

Yup, it's Jeep recall center. They go by Vin# or phone#.

(866) 814-1480 is a scam. Do not answer the phone or call them back. They are cloning your number. If you have answered or returned their call, it doesnt mean you will absolutely be a victim, but you should monitor you cellular bills closely to make certain you are not being charged for calls and services that you did not make or authorize.
