they keep calling everyday, particularly early in the morning.  i finally lost it this morning, called them back and screamed at the woman who answered, i had her yelling and swearing too, it was kind of fun...then i called the police to complain (legally they can't harass you if it's not your debt and you ask them to stop calling).  the police advised to dial *57  every time you receive the call, that way, the phone company can trace the calls and once a pattern has been established, they can act...

We have been getting calls for at least 2 months - sometimes 3-4 per day.

Today I finally answered and told them that I needed to see WRITTEN proof that we owe money.  She said they had a copy of the contract and she could fax it.  They must be crazy if they think I'm giving them a fax number.  I told her we would only accept a written copy via mail and she told me that violates company policy and they can only communicate via fax.  It ended with a screaming match, she hung up on me so I called back to speak to her supervisor who informed me that they cannot mail things. Apparently they have no access to any postal service!

She also said they would continue to call us.  I told her we would not speak with them until we recieve proof via mail.  

They are nasty and extremely rude on the phone - really awful experience.

Announced herself as NAFF of Canada.  Was told it was my obligation and responsibility to contact her by 9:00 that night to discuss this urgent matter. Who is this company?  I honestly can't remember any reason someone from Canada would be calling me.  It was an 1-800-713-6906 ext 16 her name was Stacey.  Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Every time they call file a complaint with the Do Not Call List, Federal Trade Commission and other agencies.  If they get slightly threatening then file a police report and contact your state attorney general along with the New York state attorney general.

For each call you get post on one of the many forums complaining about NAFS.  The more complaints that are filed the easier it is for lawyers to file a class action lawsuit.
