These guys think it’s super cool to call at 6:30am to scam people. Called with a prerecorded message from (929) 468-6960, probably a spoofed number.

“Hey it's Barbara I'm calling you from tax health center um can you just give me a quick call back it's 866-856-0288 regarding your back income tax debt I've got some great news for you with some new changes that I've taken a fax and I just want to discuss your repayment or eliminations options but it's imperative that I speak to you just as soon as possible so I'm gonna give you my number again it's 866-856-0288 and I look forward to hearing from you have a great day…”

My mom got a call from this number. They claimed to be the "Tax Help Center" and asked for a call back.

Got the same recording as above. Scam/Spam

Just got the same msg.  Hmm... let’s see, I’ll call you and resolve a so-called tax debt and give you my personal information?   Nope!!
Scary thing is that there are people that will call it and get scammed out of more money!

We got the prerecorded message from "Barbara" that Guest May 13 2021 got. I did not respond.

Tax refund scammer

This is the message received:

I got the same message 4 times. Only the differences are 2 call me back 866-464-1520, 1 call me back 866-800-0138,1call me back 866-856-0288  I recorded all of them and sent to IRS with the phone number she called From.

I got the exact same message today and was going to call the IRS directly when I saw this post. Beware 866-856-0288.

They are really busy.  Barbara sounds sooooo upbeat in that she can help with my back tax debt.  Sorry, IRS hasn't sent me any notice of a debt and I just got a refund this year.  Guess I'll just ignore this one like I ignore any and all calls that come thru from all these fools.

I got this message today for tax debt. I don’t have any tax debt. They must have used a silent ring because my phone has been quiet all morning and then all of a sudden I get this message. SCAM!

Same recorded schpeal as GH, Scam Killer, Shane and others, above. Gool ole perky Barbara wants to help me with my tax debt, etc., etc. But Barb, I don't have any tax debt, so? -----> Fear of problems with your taxes is the emotional hook to get you to call back. Don't. FYI the number called from was 612-437-3991. The message call back number on the recording is 866-856-0288.

Too bad this woman is involved with a scam company.  She sounds like the DJ Delila and could make a better living doing something reputable instead of trying to cause harm to others.

I just got the same call 866-856-0288 is what I'm supposed to call back a lady named Barbara I think it's a scam and I don't know how to report this other than leaving a message here for other people

I got the same call from Barbara from the Tax Help Center wanting me to call back. I question when my phone does not ring but it tells me I have mail or voice mail in this case. Scam call.
