I got "the call" from Barbara with the exact script. She sounds so nice, doesn't she? Who calls anyone to offer help with taxes?? No one!
They are hoping to hook someone who is already in a bad situation and push them down even more. Unless a number is familiar, I search online to see who it is.

Just got the same voicemail. The number on my caller ID was 223-213-0457.

I would like to know if this is a scam. I was told by internal revenue they don’t make phone calls

Just got the same message from Barbara. She asked that I call back so she can tell me about this new information.

Looks like old Barb is still at it. I rec'd a notification that I had a new voice mail but there was no call listed on my phone. Not sure how that was accomplished. Anyway, her message is still the same. I guess these scammers aren't very creative. SMH

I got the exact same message now it it’s august 2021 and they are still using the same number for this scam

I got the exact same call.  Scam alert!  I have no tax debt.

“Hello this is Melissa calling from MI I have had a delivery agent I'll go to the property address on file with _⁠_⁠_ was unsuccessful _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_ getting somebody to sign the documents today our contact is 904-265-7971 we will only be able to make one more time before we return your call as a player to comply again the number is 904-265-7971…”

I got this same scam call from Melissa. She needs to get a job and quit trying to scam people

Melissa from tax help center has been calling me for months, with the same M.O. "um" past due taxes. Today I rec'd a call from a person who sounds exactly like Melissa but is now Sarah. Sarah has the same message including the "um"
