Yep... just got it myself...  I think scammers should be hung up by their balls.  What a low life it takes to pull these kind of things.

I got this same alert and I called the number and received an automated prompter asking for my account info and two other pieces of ID - this is a scam!

I alerted Patti, who seems to be a nice lady working for a law firm in MS, that her account was being spoofed for a phishing scam.

Got a text messagefrom kelly@ssctv.net  VISA alert#7763201 ACCOUNT FROZEN.  call us at 1-866-864-7960  May 26, 5:31 p.m. (EST)

My husband received the same text message on his cell phone at about the same time.  I called the number and a message identifying themselves as something like "visa services" and instructing me to input my 16-digit credit card number plus the pound sign. I input 0000-0000-0000-0000# just to see if there was a human to talk to.  It kept repeating the instruction to input the card number.

Instead, I called my credit card company directly at their customer service number.  No problem with the card.  They said it was probably a scam.  I called my bank as well.  Same suggestion.  The bank told me to report this to the BBB and to the police.

Just got the message also a few seconds ago.  Probably a scam as I do not have any open VISA accounts.

Just spoke with a VISA rep on the phone - It's not one of their numbers, the rep said it's probably a scam.  Just fyi.

My mom just got this text message at 2:50. Visa alert: #773201 ACOUNT FROZEN, call us at 1866 864-7960 from patti@net1plus.com. I called the bank since that's where the visa account would be through and read it to them. They said delete it and don't worry about it. I called the number from a land line too. It said destination you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time. Text message span what is this world coming to.

Spoke with a VISA rep, they said it's not one of their numbers, and that it is probably a scam.

My husband and I both got the text today and FREAKED out because we found out someone stole my husbands identity today. Great... just great. Seriously I hope they find whoever did this and beat them.

Just got it as well. Don't call - scam

SOMEBODY ACLLED WITH CALLER i.d. SERVICES AT loki.vdhinc.com. They called from this phone number: 1-866-864-7960 and left a text message saying: VISA alert #(bogus 5 digit number) account frozen, call us at 1-866-864-7960.  I knew it had to be a scam as I do not do business this way.

Just got a text stating my Visa account is frozen #773201.  I called from my work phone and it states "the destination you are trying to reach is not available" or something along that line.  I think this is a scam because I don't have a visa account.

I got the same Visa ALert message with a different account number and instructed to call 1-866-443-5394.  They are Phishing hard.

This communist lack of brains called me too.  He should go to boot camp in the snow without a tshirt!
