Got call about important message and is collection agency calling the person that had the phone line before me and they will not update their records and keep calling back and back..
Since they are debt collecting the don't fall under the do not call list, however if they keep harrassing you can file complaint with phone company

BTW when you call them back it takes forever for them to answer.

ok, so I keep getting calls from this number, asking for a Denise Anderson, a Heaven something... or a craig something. I have had this phone number for about 2 years. I have no idea who these people are, and EVERYTIME they call I get irate and tell them to take me off their list. I get this way, because I have had to tell them NUMEROUS times to get the # off their list! along with 760-735-8531 and all the other bogus crap I get.

Similar call as everyone else, a woman's voice saying the call is from "First Source Advantage, LLC, a Debt Collection Agency."  They gave the call back number at (866) 880-5589. I can smell a rat from a mile away, so I instantly googled the number and found out that my gut instinct was right.

Like everyone else, I don't have any debt, am on the "do not call" registry, too.

We've had our phone number for 2.5 years and have regularly received collection calls from this and another caller for a person we don't know.  I've never called this number back, but decided to today.  Only let it ring 5 times, but no answer.  It's very annoying, but part of life for us at this point...

I received a call from this number - they left a message about trying to collect a debt.  I don't owe anything to anyone.  I called the number back immediately and a man answered right away.  He announced that they were a collection agency.  I asked, "Who are you looking for and what company do you represent?   He said, "Give me your phone number and I'll tell you."  I gave him my number (which they already had on their list) - he said, "We are looking for Scott Brewer."  I replied, "I've never heard of him - you have the wrong number" - at that point, he hung up on me!  I tried to call back - he wouldn't pick up!  I'm hoping that's the end of it and they won't call again.

Keep getting calls day and night from this number. I do not know anything about this company. Keep saying this is an important call but do not say the name of the person they are calling for. This is very irritating because I have a number that someone else use to have and I get unwanted calls constantly.

I had gotten a call several times but I had missed the call. I answered it and got the recording. I called it was someone that could barley speak english(sounds like a [***] or sand flea). They wanted my cell phone number, I didn't give it to them. I asked them to spell his name(Fahab) and what was his company's name Fist Source Advantage. I asked him what do they do he never would tell me. I kept on asking being very nice he hung up on me. Repeated this again same result.

The company that has this phone number is a collection agency called First Source Advantage LLC.  Their address is 205 Bryant Wood South, Amherst, NY  14228-3609.  Phone number 1-716-564-4400  Fax 1-716-564-4440.  They have been calling my husbsand's cell phone for weeks leaving their 866 number.  Like many of you we don't owe money to anyone. I lodged a complaint with our Attorney General and also emailed the company at info@firstsourceadvantage.com and told them to stop the calls. I hope it helps.

Received numerous calls from this number over the last month.  Called back this morning and Auchmed (sounded like an Arab) answered the phone.  I asked him why they were trying to get a hold of me and he hung up.  Need to watch my phone bill in case this is one of those phone scams where they use your number to place long distance calls.

I called this company back this morning.  The person who answered the phone was excedingly rude, gave me no information, and hung up on me when I refused to give him my name.

I called back again and spoke with a woman who asked if a Tod Knudson was at this number.  She said she would remove my number from the list.

Just went through the same experience as all of you have noted here.  They didn't know my name (associated with the number they called and left the automated message), was rude and hung up when I insisted what their call was about and did not provide my name.  This after my third attempt calling as the first two calls just rang and rang forever.  Certainly sounds like the calls are being handled overseas (probably India). Have no debt whatsoever or owe any otherwise.

So called the NYS Attorney General's office (and the Buffalo regional office) and basically they won't do anything unless I send them proof of a certified letter sent to this "debt colection" agency stating that they do not call my cell (on the Do Not Call registry).  So, in effect, the AG wants me to provide these scammers the very information (my name, address, etc.) that they seem to be trying to obtain in the first place.  Both AG's offices are aware of this company by name which obviously means that others have called in with complaints (but probably also were perplexed when the AG's office suggested mailing a letter to the company directly).  So much for the help from the very people who can put a stop to this scam quickly.

We are getting phone calls on one of our cell phones.  We are listed on the do not call list and do not have any past due debts.  They leave the same message as listed in these other comments - attempting to get information to collect on a debt.
