These people call at least 3 times a week leaving a message on my cell phone, which cost me minutes equalling dollars to retrieve them. Attempts to call back go unanswered. Also the phone has a very funny ring to it (almost foreign). I attempted to contact them via their web site with no email, however I did retrieve this email (above) to get to them. I have told them in the emails that I have contacted my lawyer and the Attorney Generals office of NY. HOPEFULLY this will put a stop to them!

I believe they also use the number 1-888-872-1566.  This is ridiculous.

We need to stop these people!

I got about the 12th call today asking me to call 866-880-5589. I have complained about this on the donotcall.gov web site twice before. Nothing changed so I called their blasted number and demanded that my number be removed from their list. The frist two times they switched me a couple of times and then hung up. That made me mad, but my re-dail button works just fine and on the thrid try someone told me that they would remove my number. We shall see. I never gave then my name or any thing else.

We keep getting calls from this number, a recorded message says it is First Source Advantage LLC attempting to collect a debt.  We have no idea what the call is about and when I call back it rings forever and no one picks up. I hate these idiots!

They call on my cell phone and it comes in as unknown.  I've answered there call and just get the message to call them back.  I call the 866-880-5589 number they leave and no one answers.

As all of you, I have received the same calls from First Source Advantage, LLC.  I gave them my phone number (which clearly they already have) and they pulled up my maiden name (I didn't correct them, as they don't need updated information on me!) They said that I owe $17.44 for an account I closed in college YEARS ago! I told them that the voicemail I recived referred to a letter, and that I have never received a letter.  The man I spoke with (yes, Indian) was surprised by that.  I said, "No, I've never received the letter, I don't have that account, and I don't owe any money!" He said, "Okay, thank you, good-bye" and hung up.  UMM... does that mean it's taken care of? If they call again, I will call back as many times as I have to to get confirmation that they won't call again.  It's just frustrating, and yes, a very annoying and inconvenient interruption to my day.  Good luck, everyone.

same as the other replies on this page.  Its a bunch of [***] to try to obtain personal info to do who knows what with.  Told the accented prick i would call the police if i receive another call.  Real jerks with guys laughing in the background.  Anyone know who to call to report these jerks???

I got a call from unavailable, but I don't answer restricted or unavailable calls, or even numbers I don't know.

My boyfriend doesnt have his phone right now, so we have a thing that he calls twice or thrice within a minute./ then i would know it was him.

this unavailable did the same thing that Cesar does....but when I answered the second time......a voice recording came on telling me to call 1-866-880-5589.

I have getting collection calls for this Russian guy named Yon/Yahn....like all the time. and I never get any collections msgs on my phone....

I received the same phone call just yesterday and decided to call back to see which debt it was trying to receive. . .no answer.  The problem with the agencies is that  they sell the number to another agency if the debt isn't paid and force you into trying to pay all  the debt and then turn around and try to settle.  I'll contend to not answer the phone as you all have done.  it's really harrassment.  And we have rights.

Left urgent messages that I contact their officer, Sandy Team 31.  I am not delinquent on any debts and there is no reason for this company to be calling me.  They are bogus!  Sandy said that I needed to provide her with some personal information before she could tell me why she was calling.  Bogus!!!

just called this number back,because they left a message for me to do so ,from first souce advantage,to collect a debt.when i called,iasked what is this for? they hung up on me.why would they do this? if they left the number to call?

First Source Advantage is a scam.  DO NOT GIVE THEM INFO.  1-888-580-7675.  They left a message for me to call them back for urgent info and I researched them on line before returning the call.  SCAM!!!  Looks like they call as many people as they can hoping to collect your personnal info.

this company has address listed in New York but it is actually out of Mumbai...so if you have identity theft from them you can thank the creditor who hired them, gave all your private information to a company in Mumbai.  They all claim to have "americanized" names, like Sherman, Calvin, Roger, Nick...etc.

Firstsource Advantage, LLC and there are numerous complaints on the Internet about this debt collection agency.

Yeah I got a message tonight from the # 1-888-872-1566 saying we owed a debt and to call them.  We owe nothing to anyone and I'm on the national do not call list!

First Source Advantage called me this evening and left an automated message with a womans voice.  The message said that they were a debt collection agency but did not leave the name of the person who had incurred the debt.  First of all we pay ALL of our bills on time and do not owe anyone anything.  I attempted to call back to question them as to why they had called me only to hear music on the other end but no answer.  Then I Googled them only to find that they are a scam.  I plan on reporting them to my VA, Attorney General and calling 12 on your side our local news station that investigates these sort of scams.  Thanks to all of you who reported this :) The call back number they left with me was 1-888-872-1566 but the call came up as unavailable on Caller ID. They also left the website FSAK.com on the message but when I type it in it takes me to another site altogether where they try to sell and advertise things.

Correction, The website was www.fsapay.com.  When I go there they want a reference number and an account number from my creditor.  I never received a letter stating that I owed any debt so naturally I am still unable to find out why they have called me.
