had a lady  call today asking for my husband refusing to give her name..and once she did it was very ignorant like. she refused to say where or what company she was calling from... calling me names and being rather rude...

We have been receiving calls from this number for at least a month, it is really annoying!  Even more so because we have not only an unlisted phone number but an unpublished number as well.  When we answer the phone, there is nothing but silence for the first few minutes, although we can hear noises in the background, and no one answers us.  Other times it is a recording telling us about an error that was made on our 'account' and that it is urgent we contact them.  Prior to June, we were receiving calls from another number (I cannot remember what the phone number was) and it was a recording about an error that had been made on our credit card, the ironic part is we do not own any credit cards!  I believe this is the same company they just changed their number.

I registered us with the Canadian National Do Not Call List and every time they phone, I go online and fill in a complaint form.  Not sure if it will do any good, likely they will just change their number again but maybe if the NDNCL receives enough complaints they will do something about it.

I'm pretty sure this is another number used by the scum at CBV Collections.

Three times between 1030 and 11 pm!  Wtf! Auto reject list that's where they are going.

1: Collections agency never need any verification, address etc over the phone.
2:  They would automatically say your being recorded for ..........
3:  If they don't get a hold of you within 30 days, they would be sending you mail.
4:  You never send money or any transaction over the phone dealing with card/money.  They would mail you
5:  If you do owe from another party they would send it to a collections agency, but only after you've recieved a mail document stating which
agency you would be getting future replies.
6: SO IF ANYONE claims to need any information from you regarding your location/personal ID etc... SCAM SCAM SCAM.
Usually RCMP would red tag these scammers but they are like "Gold sellers" on video games.  They scam so many people that they can afford to buy loads of different numbers to keep harrassing you, hopefully thinking you will eventually give into their scam.

Its pretty easy to tell them apart from regular people.
On phone it will say British Columbia/United States.

This number along with 844-396-3239 are constantly calling my number. My number is also unlisted and they keep calling. Telling me i owe money and i need to verify my DOB and address.

Block these clowns from all the numbers they call from. Collection agency called CBV. Scumbags.

They called me before 7am meaning they got a rude answer. I asked for there date of birth. They said I owed Telus money. Which I've never had a phone with. As soon as I said Joey isn't my given name the said sorry and removed me from the call list.

Received 4 calls today from cbv collections and my true caller ID picked them up right away. According to Credit Karma, I have no outstanding collections on my sin so it's a bunch of garbage. You want them to stop, install true caller, stops them dead in their tracks.
