How do we report this to the do not call list?  Want to put a stop to these people!!!!!

Well, most of the responses are from people saying they did not enter any sweepstakes, but about a month ago, I DID fill out an entry form to win a Honda CRV right outside of Disneyland in Downtown Disney. My call was from Dennis, ext 121, saying that my entry form to win a car had been selected. So, am I to understand this was just a coincidence, and that THIS call was from a scammer? What a bummer, I got my hopes up for nothing?!

Same caller, Melvin.  Had a message on my work cell phone Sunday.  Even if I did enter for a drawing, I would never give my work cell phone.  I entered a drawing for a car at a home show in Tampa a year ago, but that winner was to be notified on a specific date.  Also had a call on our home voice mail.  Didn't call back, glad I checked the web.  I usually do for calls like that.

So these crooks called me. I listened to the voicemail. Then I logged onto the do not call website to report it as I do with these kind of calls. Then to waste their time, I actually called back and asked that my number be removed. The lady I talked to sounded nice and willing to honor my request, so we'll see.

After I answered a man said, "Sorry, I dialed the wrong number. Please have a good day." Maybe he noticed I was on the Do Not Call list? Very weird. Never had that happen before.

You can't have my car.  Melvin says it's mine. So all you unhappy losers, can cry all you want. It's not a scam.  All I did was give my credit card number, and they promised to name me the car dealership to pick up my new car.  Wow!  That was easy.  Just give my credit card number, and a new car. Lucky me.

I love you folks - thanks for the heads up on this call - I just hang up on 866 numbers but should report to donotcall.gov  But I could use a new car if someone has an extra one?

Got a call from Melvin today on my answering machine and wanted to check out the number on the computer. To my surprise.......  Will not call that number back. From Georgia!

Old Melvin is still at it. August 7th at 6:45PM the shyster rang and left the same message for us. Boy I hope they have a lot full of new cars!  LOL seems like they are giving away thousands of new cars.  The number that rang my phone was 7082487504 and that is in Millrose Park, Illinois.  Ol Melvin left the message for us to call on the 18669072330 number ext 124 to claim our car. I called back to question him and of course no answer,"bummer"!  Wouldn't it be fun to find Melvin and take him to court for our prizes!

just got a part of a message from a person named tammy from The Notification Center at that number..the phone hungup right away.

I think next time they want to call a one pissed off granny about a scam they might want me to know how to talk very loud as if I dont know english..I can scam your ass to dumb ass.

OMG I can't stop laughing. I called them on a fax phone..it doesn't ring or I can't hear the ring. I guess when they call me Granny GoodSmith back they might need to fax me. because it's under some fake ass name. Granny Goodsmith name..
That way if I never pick the phone up and someone is on the phone..I know it's a scam

Like when I ordered a tummytuck belt. They sold my name and number out. I would call them back on my fax phone and say they ordered a tummytuck belt and I needed the address and Visa card information they gave me..the person on the other end wouldn't know what to think. I would get passed around from person to person.
I would say they just ordered this and Needed to call the number back to make sure it was the right person.
Would keep bugging them for a address and visa number...After 5 mins someone would hangup..Just to have me call them right back.

Got this message today and it struck me as "fake" because they did not call me by my name (huge red flag) nor did he specify what company the contest was through.  I will not call back just to provide them with information about myself they never had in the first place.  I can imagine how that conversation would go now: "well give me your full name and phone # ma'am and I'll verify you are a winner.  Just confirm your address too...oh and your date of birth...."  no way.
They cold call and play on your desire for that big prize.  If it is official they will send me a letter or call back.  Until then I will continue to let 866-907-2330 go to answering machine if it happens again!!!  It was the same "Melvin " from the "notification center" too so it is probably a recording.

I got the same message, word for word, from "Melvin." I have not entered any contests, sweepstakes,etc. and if I had, I would never have listed my home number for them to call me. I don't even know that number off the top of my head because we NEVER use it. I have a home line for my kids to call out if something happens to their cell phones. I have never made a single call from my home line. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! They must have pulled my number from a list somewhere. If I wanted someone to get a hold of me, they would have my cell number. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

They just called and left the dame message again.  I never wanted to be notified I never entered the contest.
